Zizu, very soon you'll be giving sad and pitiable if you're not careful. Very few people here (if even any) felt strongly enough about Ali to genuinely think she was the devil. Although she might be your goddess, with how eager you appear to worship her. :joker:

They literally sat there with faces like a smacked arse… you know the thing all you lot have accused Ali of doing every night in that house? They absolutely didn’t have to be jumping up and down and screaming but you’re on camera, at least try and look gracious :joker:

I think plenty of them looked gracious and calm, no matter what ... you'd have been on their case. Before Marcello left he congratulated Ali and hugged her. If he was such a horrible nasty man ,he would have had a meltdown and refused to speak to her .

On L& L if they all started cheering and chanting Ali ,then you'd be calling it fake and arse kissing...and maybe even accuse them of sniffing around the 90k. So they can't win :idc:.

Will & AJ ,and the pathetic celebrity house guests ,felt the need to bring up old arguments & drama from the house, which was cringe and wasn't needed . Marcello & Khaled aren't going to be happy to be reminded of those
moments. Segun was dragged and Hanah was annoyed with Segun, Lily was upset by Emma's opinion of her . Nothing to do with Ali .

People need to make up their minds ,if they think the core is so ' fake' , then what do they want?. Ali was never their friend. It's a 2 way street... Ali was extremely disingenuous and was only interacting with them,due to losing her friends in the past few weeks.

Not everyone thinks the sun shines out of saint Ali's
backside, she took very little responsibility for her actions...and just used her condition as an excuse. And kept arrogantly still saying how " right" she is about stuff.

Poor victim Ali ,who still made a dig at her fellow housemates by saying she's " proud of most of them" , clearly showing she will always have resentment for the other housemates.

I think they had their reasons to be down - Khaled with the issues between Hanah and Segun playing through his mind (and if he'd be caught in the crossfire), Hanah and Segun considering the impact of the clip being shown, Marcello being given a grilling before Ali's interview etc. The reason behind looking down once the interview started may have had very little down to Ali winning.

Tbf Ali weren't exactly nice to Khaled, Marcello, Sarah, or Segun either.

It shows that she's a moderate, which is a good Muslim in my eyes.

Yeah how do we all know it was real alcohol anyway could have been non alcoholic? , and even if it was who cares . I got the impression Khaled,Segun ,Izaaz & Hanah either didn't drink or only had the odd glass .

Especially Marcello couldn't win with his reaction.

But then Marcello would get attacked just for looking the wrong way, I get that it's the BB way to be like this, but it does also explain why BB struggles to get as many people audition for the Show anymore because you might get a chunk of the public just dislike you regardless of what you're saying or doing.

I mean how would the people that didn't like Marcello handle John James in today's world? There would be accusations of him having Incel ideology with his treatment towards women.

I honestly do not envy the housemates who go into the BB house,fair enough we're all guilty to a point of judging people's reactions. But I even felt sorry for Lily a bit and I couldn't stand her in the house lol .

It's bizarre to think how things get twisted and how society has shifted upside down,as you know I think people like John James were horrible with zero redeeming qualities. I stopped watching BB11 because of him . But yeah be interesting to see how the John James of today would be handled by the public in today's BB era .

I honestly think Marcello is a choir boy compared to twats like John James ,but I know not everyone will agree.

Anyone that thinks that Marcello is worse needs to seriously rewatch BB11.

John James got away with stuff that nobody in this series would've got away with, I mean look at the 700 weirdos complaining to Ofcom about Sarah's joke.:umm2:

Well all types of people don't drink ,I don't drink much myself... except for very occasional times.

It's people's choice,and Hanah even talked with Segun about the pressure from her elders a bit ...and it's like she has to remind them she's more western/ different generation . As I think she was born in the UK...or at least grow up in the UK.

Tbh I'm not much of a drinker myself.

I just meant that if Religion is the only reason that is stopping someone from having a glass of Wine for example, then I do see that as extreme personally.

Plus Marcello did so much in the house ,and actually had layers to his personality with a heart.

I agree with your assessment on Marcello and John James tbh.

I remember John James making me laugh a couple of times in the series, but he was a deeply unpleasant individual imo that makes any of the final six of this series look like teddy bears in comparison.

And I agree with you about modern BB walking on egg shells, it's probably the number one issue that ITV's version has.

Hopefully they'll do better for the next Civilian series in terms of allowing the contestants to be more free with their behaviour.
