Ben, Jeanette, Christine, Simone are also strong signings, whereas Jeanette nowadays is lesser current in the music industry, Ben is a current name, so surprising he decided to take time off from doing concerts to do this show

Fabian is one of their more successful olympians, on that merit alone he is a good signing, while also one with decent personality and nowadays quite a household name appearing on many tv specials on RTL (and Sat1)



mixed up nicely with some younger stars, all to appeal to as many age group demographics among the viewers as possible

Leyla recently came of the back from winning Promi BB so she also is quite popular

Taliso is quite a big risk, not only that he cannot see, but also being partially deaf, i hope he gets Ekat, Kathrin or Malika, one with a whole lot of experience instead of a newer pro, he also doesn't exactly have the ''baby of the bunch'' going for him either, with Diego being the youngest contestant



Diego is a Bobby Brazier-ish type of casting without the sad sob story, all depends on how production makes him come across, but idk if he'll be an early exit, considering his mom Verona got quite a fanbase (where she could encourage them to vote for him on the socials) some could see him as a nepobaby, but tbh on his own merit he is quite a decent male model, very pretty face, very stylish guy, wonder if he'll get the obvious song choice ''it don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that swing'' golf related theme :fan: or a fashion related music choice like Vogue or Bowie's Fashion

there is no live band, there used to be although they rather wanted to spend their budget on other things in the show, and with studio versions of songs you have a wider selection to choose from, also foreign language music

my shot in the dark pairing prediction (before pro's are officially announced)

the men

Ben & Marta Arndt (Marta Maschine would be a great one for our schlager maschine)

Diego & Malika Dzumaev (personality wise i think they'll be a good match, and as last years winning pro she needs a novice with some challenges in terms of making him come across the right way, and also handling the ''nepobaby'' criticism by certain haters well)

Fabian & Anastasia Stan (shorter male, with shortest female, would make most sense)

Marc & Ekaterina Leonova (same reason they gave ringer Detlef to her last year, she already won it 3 times, now she is the one to get the ringers to go far, but ultimately not win)

Osan & Christina Hanni (could see this being Christina's comeback year after her pregnancy hiatus, could see Mariia being moved to the bench, and her getting a comedian again as partner, but it'll depend on who he is paired with how far he'll get)

Roland & Patricija Ionel (yes those two would be a good combo i think, reminds me a little of Hardy Kruger Jr, the partnership that never was due to Hardy getting covid before week 1)

Taliso & Kathrin Menzinger (he needs an experienced pro, so why not this new challenge for the queen choreo)

however out of those i am not certain about Roland

Team Jive

Ben: i myself thought he was harshly undermarked by the judges, for someone who doesn't have a perfect posture for such a fast latin as jive, i thought despite not technically amazing, he saved the performance with his musicality, timing, and lots of personality, i think Malika is the right pro for him, he seems like such a sweetheart too :love:

Marc: overmarked by judges i thought, very wooden, apart from that breakdance signature move of his then but idk, also he seems kinda full of himself

Osan: not already the GRANDMOTHER shoutout in a launch show, his grandmother Heidi watches this show since series 1, but anyway as for how he got on with the jive, meh, could've been better, but could've also been way worse, bit in the middle


team waltz:

Taliso: for one who is blind and partially deaf, i have to say he did decently, although having said that, this was a slow dance, maybe easier to follow the beats, am glad he won the immunity ticket by the public, wouldn't want him to get booted first on who knows a faster paced routine, he seems soooooo cute either :lovedup:

Christine: 62 but what a MILF! also a bit of a Sally Field vibe i am having with this lovely woman, she did great with this waltz, can't wait to see more of her, and i think she and Valentin will get on so so well :dance:

Roland: he is so entertaining, he did well :love: hope he is able to keep up with Queen Choreo Kathrin Menzinger her sometimes wacky over the top choreo's, but he has a good teacher in her anyway

Fabian: this one has potential to go far, and i am super happy he is with Nastya :D :worship: am sure this will be a fun couple to watch


Jeanette: might be dangerous to say this, but Vadim got another good one!

San Diego: and here i was scared he would be so unlikable, coming across smug but he seems very nice, he also did a good job with the tango

schlager genre is a very popular genre of music in Germany


if Mickie Krause was able to last as long as he did, i hope Ben will also last a while, and i do think there are dances out there which suit him greatly



do think Roland is more of a showman, so Kathrin needs to make sure the showy element is always there in their routines

there'll be 13 performances tomorrow night, Leyla Lahouar has been given a bye into next week due to being unable to train fully due to having the flu


oh well, not my favourite anyway so that'll be two weeks of a top 13 then

i'm not very surprised either this about Leyla

considering she does a lot of late night partying, rather than you know also have plenty of sleep, after long training days


do think she could've been one to be booted out first, i mean newbie pro + celebrity who literally has done too many reality shows in last few years, too much exposure i mean


and her cha cha skills were non-existent and none of those in that group were any good lol


now i'm worried for Simone, as Paola has Massimo (and i doubt the casual viewers would want Massimo to be booted first)
