Day 3

A chubby little snowman
had a carrot nose.
Along came a bunny,
and what do you suppose?

That hungry little bunny,
looking for some lunch,
Grabbed that snowman's nose,
Nibble, nibble, crunch!

Along came Santa, seeing that bunny,
And said ‘you’d be so good in my tummy’
He popped the bunny in a Xmas stew,
And said merry Christmas to me and you.

Day 3 - Xmas Poem

We all know of Rudolph and his shining nose
And we all know Frosty who's made out of snow
But all of those stories seem kind of... gay
`Cause we all know who brightens up our holiday

Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo
Small and brown he comes from you
Sit on the toilet here he comes
Squeeze him 'tween your festive buns

A present from down below
Spreading joy with a "Howdy-Ho!"
He's seen the love inside of you
`Cause he's a piece of poo

Sometimes he's nutty
Sometimes he's corny
He can be brown or greenish brown
(Mmmmhmmm!)
But if you eat fiber on Christmas eve
He might come to your town!

Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo
He loves me, I love you
Therefore, vicariously he loves you!

I can make a Mr. Hankey too! (Pffffft)

Mr. Hankey: Howdy Ho!

I'm Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo
Seasons Greetings to all of you!
Let's sing songs and dance and play
Now before I melt away.

Here's a game I like to play
Stick me in your mouth and try to say
Howdy ho ho yum yum yum
Christmas Time has come!

Singers: Sometimes He's runny
Sometimes he's firm
Sometimes he practically water.
Sometimes he hangs off the end of your ass
And wont fall in the toilet
'Cause he's just clinging to your sphincter
And he wont drop off .. and so you shake your ass around
And try to get it to drop in the toilet and finally it does.

Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo
When Christmas leaves he must leave too.
Flush him down but he's never gone
His smell and his spirit linger on.

Howdy Ho!

what a stunningly beautiful piece of writing :cheer2:

The Caroling Cat
There once was a cat who could sing,
Carols of Christmas, she’d bring.
With a meow and a purr,
In her festive fur,
She’d make the holiday bells ring.

Day 3

Let there be kindness at Christmas

Let there be kindness at Christmas, for one and all,
Let others know the dove of peace has come to call.
Let others see that with you, Christmas can be kind,
Leave spoonsful of joyfulness for others to find.
Distribute your smiles, let them float to those around,
So when the smiles reaches them, happiness is found.

Let there be understanding at Christmas this year,
Let others know that your forgiveness is now here.
Let others see that with you, hate does not belong,
That with you, they will once more find hope and feel strong.
Open up your heart, and let them know that you care,
And that when tomorrow comes, you will still be there.

Yeah, it was 80s.

My fave thing about Duck Tales was playing it on Spotify while watching Strictly jives on mute and seeing them match their dance moves to the Duck Tales tune. I think it was Alexandra Burke’s Jive which made me howl the most. It’s what made me decide to go for it. :joker:

I beg you to listen to Duck Tales whilst watching it.

Bit late as I should have done the advert yesterday...anyway I will always have this as my favourite John Lewis advert. But there is one that I will post soon that I will probably say is one of the best adverts of all time...

Strictly Jake 06-12-2024 10:17 AM

So as I said above I will post probably my favourite advert of all time. Here it is. Don't know what it actually had to do with Sainsbury's. But the message of the advert still sticks with me ten years on!
