I rarely drink anyway, only at special occasions like Christmas etc.

I barely even do that. I like alcohol during social times, but it has to be paired with good food. Food quality has gone so much overall, I don't see the point of going out to get anything to pair at home.

Sadly yes, I'm considering this when everything calms down.

The actual thought

:omgno:

I'd never poo again

I'm thinking about it. I've been quite overindulgent recently and I'm running a marathon in April so I really need to focus on my training for that. I also have hardly any social occasions in January but that can make me more tempted to drink because I love a solo couple of pints on a quiet weekend

I think I'll just have a mini detox in the New Year then see how I'm going. Might end up being more of a damp Jan than a dry one

I'm doing dry - water only January, February, March - 2025 onward. :p

I was talking to a guy in hospital who told me his friend beat the booze by being hypnotised into thinking water was gin!

That's how he got over his booze crave.

I drink very rarely and I don't binge drink so I feel like it would be pointless. I think it's a great idea for people who do drink though and I commend anyone who lasts the whole month!

I was amazed other day watching 2 different Asian people buy copious amounts of bottled water in Aldi. Do they not have taps?

Scottish tap water is the best water in the world

I don't drink
