What if Someone started this Fire?
maybe they will never find out?

arista 09-01-2025 01:22 AM

The Fire has Reached Hollywood Hills,
it seems the massive winds can take it in any direction, sadly.

I'm glad they got out with that dog

…that’s terrifying, they were surely trapped inside…I don’t know how that could have ended well…

Ammi 09-01-2025 04:39 AM

…reported to be 5 people killed now…we’re looking at ‘significant snowfall’ in some parts while the fires of hell are burning in California…

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 09-01-2025 05:15 AM

Some people are saying the government started the fire. Haven't delved deeper into this rabbit hole but I'm guessing they're thinking they needed things to be covered up

The cover up is strong! Now one of Leo's houses burned down...

Vanessa 09-01-2025 09:01 AM

Thats awful. Even those who have insurance aren't covered :fist:

LA Mayor Karen Bass refuses to answer and freezes when a reporter asks her if
she regrets cutting the Fire Department’s budget by nearly $20 million and
being in Africa during a devastating wildfire

look at the state of her in this interview

…I caught a little bit of a news update late on TV yesterday evening…there was a 92yr old man who has lost his home/lost everything in that home…and he said, no worries….ill start again…I mean……so heartbreaking …such an incredible life outlook, though….

Well she seems totally fit for office...

Obviously I do have sympathy for the people this is happening to, but part of me feels like the majority of houses this seems to be happening to are those for the mega rich, who probably have another house or two. A lot of them celebrities, so part of me doesn't feel as sorry as I would if someone lost all that they own, especially if insurance didn't cover it

Strictly Jake 09-01-2025 12:09 PM

And obviously I do feel awful for those that died, and their families.

Livia 09-01-2025 12:17 PM

It must be hard to watch your home, possessions and memories burn, however rich or poor you are.

…I don’t know what insurance would cover in terms of financial recompense…but a home is built on so many emotional aspects as well, no matter what the wealth of a person…Billy Crystal was talking about the loss of his home and that he’d lived there for 45yrs, it’s where his children spent their childhoods and grew to adulthood…and maybe Billy’s home was filled with their own children as well…/…so much lost in those flames that would be heartbreaking for anyone, I think…

I'd like to wish them all the best in their next job... Assuming they can get one.

And hey, where are all the men at?

Crimson Dynamo 09-01-2025 02:44 PM

The Los Angeles Fire Department is using handbags to collect water to throw on the fires.
