tiktok can be a place for nasty haters, who can post their vile hate comments while other social media platforms like instagram gotten a whole lot stricter

i know this from watching the reality show on Disney+ The D'Amelio Show

good there is an alternative to TikTok now, so people can still post their dance videos, funny videos

X is pretty bad …

Plus because I watch and follow a lot of boxing / mma channels the algorithm throws up loads of clips of random street fights /violence … I click on ‘not interested’ and they immediately disappear but digging ones pop up .. hopefully the algorithm will learn that I am not interested in random acts of violence

X is weird. Sometimes it's really useful where I see clips or good information that are very current and I would not see elsewhere. Other times it's just the same algorithmic trash. Youtube is still the most useful of all the sites I use and I use FB mainly for animal rescue and work. YT is the only one I use it daily. Right now watching printer maintenance videos while I work on prints. So many things can be learned on there. Whereas X just sort of pulls up the worst thing you could possibly see that day too quickly, like you said...

I know some people find X informative, but for me, it's just the same predictable patterns of human behavior but with a high school-like formula. People jockeying for the best ways to get connected with the cool people, the same group of morons being the loudest and lots of annoyed people who don't like "those others" for some petty reason. People getting mad at each other when someone says something mean about them.

I found out that someone on Twitter had blocked me last night, and I honestly have no idea why.:joker:

We'd never even interacted before, away from me trying to like his tweet towards Jessica Meuse.

If you really think about it, a lot of effort has gone towards farming the time, money and energy of the most sensitive of society (good and bad). And they sort of self-segregate themselves to spaces that gives them the most relevance.

Tiktok, I can see where it has a human element. X, it has some uses, but largely less purposeful in the grand scheme. Though I did bitch to my Telcom companies to great effect... I did get some results there leaving nasty grams for them.

Trump just stated Live
Regarding buying the USA TikTok

He said China may disapprove of it
but he will put New High Tarif's
of 20, 30 or even 100% tariffs

Just another thing the MSM think they can use to turn you against Trump.

Tiktok is small potatoes. Trump has much bigger fish to fry. The types of fish they don't want you talkng about. They want you talking about Tiktok instead.

You will eventually wake up to how it works. It just takes longer for some than others. And some will never wake up.

Nothing quite like a vague, ominous comment about absolutely nothing at all eh Alf. Do you not want to share your wisdom about what these "bigger fish" are, that make all of his actual visible actions somehow irrelevant and unimportant, because you secretly know that after-hours he's doing other, better work? Why the whispered mysterious comments? Is it because you're just parroting other people who you think are smart/in the know?

TikTok is not small potatoes, it's an absolutely massive (possibly unprecedented in scale) algorithm-driven propaganda tool, how could it be considered an irrelevance to a system that operates almost entirely on propaganda? Trump wants it. Of course he wants it. He knows there's no better way to spread the sort of despotic brain-rot you've been infected with for years.

trump doesn't need to hide anything. He will likely be dead before the end of this presidency, and he has total immunity, so why would he care about keeping anything secret? When has he kept anything secret in the past?

He will make money from any sale or reprieve for tiktok, thats all he cares about

it's possible, but what i'm saying is he will be in power now until he dies. They may hold a sham election, but he will still be president if he is alive, he isnt a young man
