When Winston Churchill visited the White House during World War 2, he wore a Siren Suit. No one had a problem with it. Mind you, the office of the President of the United States had some gravitas and respect back then.

The office of PresIdent of the USA used to have some gravitas to the office. Trump's turned it into a trailer park circus. Again.

The Krelim have responded now applauding the USA for pausing weapons and indicating this could push Kiev towards peace, the gaslighting is off the scale

I personally doubt that but would actually love to think you're right bots

The USA with this unhinged madman there for the next just under 4 years.
Really cannot be trusted or relied on in my view.
You cannot just keep giving in to someone who doesn't want to hear what people really think.
All he wants is to state what he intends to do then only hear from everyone else, yes sir.

No contradiction, no disagreements and no negativity.
You cannot or shouldn't deal with or rely on characters like that.

However you've a better knowledge than myself on conflicts plus relationships between Nations..
So I hope you are right.
Because in my view Trump is dangerously unhinged and extremely volatile.

They have a clear intent to permanently manipulate US democracy; it won't be Trump (because he's getting old) but I think the chances of anyone coming in to replace him who isn't cut from the same cloth get slimmer by the day - and he's been in less than two months. In four years? I just don't see it.

I think you are more than likely right too.
It's really concerning.

Let's see what stops the war. The EUs weapons, or the Americans diplomacy with Russia.

America's "diplomacy" with Russia involves granting Russia a boatload of their war goals. Of course it's likely to stop the war? WW2 could have been stopped over night... all we had to do was surrender. Are you saying we should have done that, Herr Parmy?

Vance is far more dangerous than Trump, at least Trump has the courage of his convictions which is fair enough, Vance on the other hand has just seen a bandwagon to jump on to further his career, and he will literally say or do anything to do just that

Oh Parm, there is no diplomacy, that should cut both ways..you cant use diplomacy for Russia and bullying for Ukraine ....surely it should be diplomacy for both.. the USA are fully in bed with the Kremlin make no mistake

Donald Trump has made history with record-breaking low approval ratings despite his recent jibes over Volodymyr Zelensky's poll numbers.

A majority of Americans disapprove of Mr Trump just weeks into his chaotic return to the White House. Polling from Gallup taken between February 3 and 16 show 51 per cent of Americans disprove of him compared to 45 per cent who approve.
