Dr. Rupy Aujla
Confirmed this is now common.

He has a New Book Out
Healthy High Protein.

He was a brief Guest on Ch5HD AM Live today

That's a bit of an unfair stigma.

But obviously not having any meat at all isn't the most healthy option in the world, but also being pure carnivore isn't good for Humans either tbf.

Tbh I will never understand this culture war, as long as I'm happy with what's going into my mouth, then I don't care about what's going into someone else's mouth.

Arista, I had a lovely stir fry last night with tofu, broccoli and onions. I made a sauce from soy sauce, peanut butter and sweet chili sauce x

You're most welcome to dinner, I'll make fresh lemonade too with some lemons I picked myself!

All the brands and restaurants make it differently, it's worth trying one more time!

I do... But I only buy local, high welfare meat. Sadly, this is very expensive and this prohibits some people from being able to afford it. Vegetarians eat everything except meat, as far as I can see. Vegans severely restrict their diet even though it leaves a lot of them undernourished. Some of them sound like they're in some kind of cult. I have a turkey farm not far from me, the turkeys are all free range and well cared for and actually, would not exist if they hadn't been reared for meat. The woman who owns the farm takes their welfare extremely seriously yet is plagued by vegans turning up, blocking her drive, letting the turkeys out during the night (never mind the foxes...). She must be so tempted to fetch the shotgun. With so many intensive chicken farms around you'd think they'd pick their targets.

They are unnaturally bred and then murdered, it doesn't matter how well they're cared for, they shouldn't exist in such high numbers just to end up on people's plates. Foxes don't know any better, we do. Veganism isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle where you don't use any animal products, meat, dairy, honey, leather etc.. because you're trying to do as little harm as possible, it doesn't mean you have to be militant or cultish, it's a personal journey for each vegan, there are different levels to it.

For me Livia its all about the animals not what I want,I get annoyed with people who ah and coo over baby animals especially lambs, and the next minute they are on their plates,I just don't get that. Each to their own,I have family and friends who eat dead animals, but for me its just a no no,Ive seen too many documentries etc, to think humans can be trusted to be kind to these poor souls,I'de rather not exist at all than to live like some of them do,mainly the factory farmers ,dairy and chicken farms. Its not a cult for me just my way of life.

Very well said.

You yourself kind of helped steer me to being vegetarian from all you said in the past and your experience.

Never mind slaughterhouses, that's absolutely horrific.
The Farming of animals leaves a great deal to be considered too as to how farmers and their staff abuse the animals in their charge.
Recently I saw a statement that said, a chicken roasting in an oven, had more space then than it ever had in its life.
It's gross.

My main regret is that it took me so long to realise this and decide to go vegetarian, and move to being vegan too as I am doing, slowly admittedly.
So again to you Kazanne, very well said.

Thanks for responding, Kaz. I'll reply to this more fully tomorrow. In short though, I have no doubt you have the commitment and intelligence to make sure all your nutritional needs are met.

It was hard to come off eggs and fish but Im used to it now,and yes Joey its a big regret of mine that I didnt do it sooner,i found coming off dairy pretty easy, but it can be challenging and we get a fair bit of stick from meat eaters for some reason, what's so bad about wanting the least harm to animals ? we cant save them all,but one is better than none.
