…and something that he maybe thought would kick start some acting roles that he’s hoping for…but it really isn’t something that I think will do that…

Why they bother I just don't know. They should maybe just fill up the house with the usual vacuous and vanilla influencers, reality stars and models.

i think that's the real problem with BB these days, people can't be themselves, warts and all, so it's fake before they step in the door

I wouldn’t say JoJo is thin skinned. He was saying comments more than once despite people saying not to, and he still carried on.

A homophobic creep. Shock horror

They can be real. I’d say he’s being very real. It’s just his behaviour isn’t tolerated.

Ammi 09-04-2025 03:46 PM

After this the rest of the housemates sit down with Mickey ‘in an attempt to help him understand why his comments were offensive’.
He goes on to pull JoJo aside and say: ‘I want to apologise. I’ve got a habit of having a short fuse. And I don’t mean nothing by it. I do mean it [sorry]. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t say it to you.’
Saying she ‘appreciates’ his apology, JoJo then tells Mickey: ‘Anything is ok to say in context and intention – that’s what matters. And if you say something wrong but you didn’t know and you’re open to hearing – all good!’

…I like that JoJo and Mickey straightened it out quite quickly and maturely and didn’t allow it to escalate…

…I wonder if BB said ‘apologise now, Mickey…’…like they said ‘conga now, Mickey…’…/…I’m joking, I’m sure his apology was sincere…

This is good. At least he understood why his words were offensive. I'm glad they had this chat and we will see it.

I don't think he understands why it pissed her off but knows that it did if you know what I mean? It'll be interesting if he says anything else.

Far more based than I thought she would be about stuff like this in all honesty.

Kudos to her.

He 72. He probably doesn't understand it, but knows he upset JoJo that's why he apologized.

…yeah, kudos to both of them tbh…so far I’m very impressed with JoJo as this is the first I’ve know of her…she addressed the teeth brushing thing as well without it escalating as these things often do A La BB….

Yes 100%

They'll move on and hopefully all will be good between them

The thread title is in inaccurate

He did not get a warning for homophobic remarks

He got a warning for offensive and unacceptable language

I think I have that correct. If so could the title be changed

Glenn. 09-04-2025 04:25 PM

He was homophobic hence the offensive and unacceptable language. You know that

Which is what they say about any kind of homophobia and racism.

It’s a weird flex to be downplaying it. We all know why though.

Strictly Jake 09-04-2025 05:07 PM

Oh huge surprise that he would be in trouble already. He will be out before Friday.
