It’s completely inexplicable

It’s a bit weird for my liking, but a homosexual and straight friendship is not bound by the same restrictive societal rules as one between a heterosexual man and a heterosexual woman. It’s just different, and you can show a different kind of closeness BECAUSE there is no risk of attraction.

Just like with Ali last year it’s another case of a lesbians sexuality being invalidated. If Danny was washing Angelica’s feet nobody would suggest it was more than friendship.

I pray that you're correct.

Because wow! If it's the alternative and Jojo pretends to be Bisexual just to get Magazine deals with Chris.:umm2:

She is probably the most wealthy person in there.

Just cause she's a lesbian doesn't mean she won't have sex with a bloke if she gets horny.

DanielM787 14-04-2025 08:54 AM

The fact that Chris knows she’s a lesbian and is trying to initiate a romance is a bit disturbing

If you think that's how sexuality works, then congratulations on being bisexual. One of us! One of us! One of us!

this is what i don't get. After the dressing down he gave Mickey when he suggested he could turn her in 4 days, to then behave as he has is very disturbing.

I'm actually starting to think the producers have asked them to do it

She needs to be nipping it in the bud if that's not what she wants.

I agree with this, especially when she has a partner on the outside

DanielM787 14-04-2025 09:18 AM

Chris even massaged JoJos armpits.. like why would friends do that? plus Chesney noticed that and called them out on that. That’s probably why she’s sleeping on the floor maybe people are starting to suss what’s going on

Honestly where on earth is this idea that relationships/friendships have "rules" that go beyond what the people involved in those relationships and friendships are comfortable with? Do prescriptive and backwards. Literally the only reason this would be a problem, is if it makes Jojo's partner uncomfortable. That's true if they're hugging, kissing or rubbing each other's nipples. We have no idea what the "acceptable friendship boundaries" are for Jojo and her partner, and it's no one else's business or problem .

I agree with you, completely!

I did mention about 'societal rules' but only in the sense that society does place expectations and judgement on what is right and wrong for friendships particularly when it comes to friendships between straight men and straight women.

I don't agree them, but they do 'exist'... perhaps rules was the wrong word to use, though. I just wanted to differentiate that friendships between gay people and straight people of opposite genders aren't bound my the same societal judgement.

You could use that when saying old people should act in a certain way

The same applies it's about the comfort of the people involved, so yeah, when old men are making sexual "jokes" towards young women and upsetting them, that is unacceptable behaviour.

DanielM787 14-04-2025 12:20 PM

Well.. Michael who is bisexual & has also lived with Chris & Jojo & seen their relationship up close said himself on late & live that there is more than friendship vibes going on with them two

Is calling an old man who clearly suffers mentally, "backwards" acceptable? Cause that's what he's had to soak up.

Don't forget Ellie's VT as well, perhaps watch it before judging what jokes she should have a problem with.

Correct. She was smelling his breath after they all tried to pretend they hadn’t had food. It was even shown on the main show.

it's acceptable to say he's being backwards when he's being backwards, but in essence I partly agree that it shouldn't have had to haoo n, he shouldn't have been in there... It was unlikely to end any other way and they should have known that.

Veering a little close to "if she didn't want groped she wouldn't wear short skirts" there Parmy.

Just watched last night’s show

Chris and Jo Jo have a very touchy feely relationship - seems far more than a platonic friendship

When she went to he bed and teased him about the smell of food .. which he denied- she put her hand under his duvet and had a good rummage around !!

That's another reason to wonder why she would even consider faking this.

For exposure in the UK, a lot of people don't know of her yet
