Has that been given as a possible cause?

Sorry just seen your post above, that is insane you would think by now they would have developed something to prevent that happening

Yes Dreamliner claims they can handle a Bird strike.

But if this was a Massive Flock
Hitting both engines?

Locals are reporting it.

Just taking off, to state the obvious, it would have been full of fuel.

Yes can only land,
on a runway.

They contacted the airport.

I assume it could be talking about,
Massive Birds hitting both big engines

Nicky91 12-06-2025 01:47 PM

no, this is not terrorism, i had thought of that too i do admit, due to there having been a former (controversial) politician among the passengers

but the explosions eyewitnesses heard were most likely after the impact with the ground

i'm thinking maybe the wrong flaps configuration, or forgot to set the flaps entirely in their pre-take off checklist, since it struggled to get off the ground, flaps help generate lift during take off, forgetting them wouldn't be the first time this had happened and ended up as a fatal error, like Northwest Airlines Flight 255 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northw...nes_Flight_255
