…I recall him saying that he always felt young inside, it was just his body that didn’t agree…I’m glad that he got to perform again for his fans, that would have meant so much to him, I think…

“I have made it to 2025. I can’t walk, but you know what I was thinking over the holidays? For all my complaining, I’m still alive. I may be moaning that I can’t walk, but I look down the road, and there’s people that didn’t do half as much as me and didn’t make it,” he mused.
Osbourne had dealt with a series of medical challenges leading up to his passing.

Sad news, I wasn't a great Ozzy fan tbh,but sad for his family.

So sad, RIP Ozzy :( I feel so bad for Sharon

i don't mean this as a criticism as Ozzy was a big part of my youth, but it's really a miracle he lived this long. The same applies to the rolling stones, the who, elton john and paul mcartney

…I think that Ozzy would probably have agreed with you there…he battled with many health issues so much even before his Quad Bike injuries and Parkinson’s diagnosis…and pain would have been a huge part of his life for a long time, I think…

Y'know part of me wonders ... he's been ill a long time, he had a farewell concert, and did a massive meet-and-greet with fans at a comiccon ... was this "planned" ... ?

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if this is an assisted death

bots 23-07-2025 01:41 PM

it may simply be that he had a bucket list of things he wanted to achieve and once he had ticked them off, he no longer had the determination to continue

That can happen too

That's true. People have a strong will when it comes to these things. He's not the first artist to go during/after a final concert season, either.

Sharon is a character also in her right and quite the fire, so I'm not too worried about her. Her daughter has also grown quite a bit since her bratty early days... they're all well-balanced all considered. (So he wouldn't need to worry)

I never knew that he owned a bar.

It's good to see that people are paying their respects to him.

Was gutted when I heard the news. I remember watching The Osbournes on MTV years ago (It’s available to watch on Amazon Prime for anyone who’s interested). He was such a great man and he lived such a crazy lifestyle, I’m glad he got to do one final show as he had such a love and passion for music. RIP Ozzy.

Ozzy Osbourne’s music re-enters charts…

The back catalogue of Ozzy Osbourne and his band Black Sabbath has surged in the charts following the rockstar’s death.

Black Sabbath’s signature song Paranoid, a number four hit in 1970, has returned to the Top 40 (at number 32) for the first time in nearly 45 years, the Official Charts Company said.

Osborne, 76, died on Tuesday, and Black Sabbath’s The Ultimate Collection returned to the album chart, climbing 129 places to number 22.

It is one of six Black Sabbath and Osbourne releases inside this week’s wider top 200, with Black Sabbath’s 1970 album Paranoid at number 52, Osbourne’s 2014 hits collection Memoirs Of A Madman at 60, his Prince Of Darkness at 71, and Sabbath’s Mob Rules at number 107.

Absolutely loved Ozzy he was one of a kind.
A person that has been through a lot in his life, but came through it.
His music was great, also really liked The Osbournes TV show, absolutely hilarious.
He was deep down a kind man who loved his fans and adored his family.
