…I think that there was some kind of lost in translation in what he said anyway in that I read that he said that now that he’s in his 70’s, he was looking to retire from action movies before the end of this year …in a magazine interview he’d previously said that being cast in action roles ‘had to stop sometime’ …and from Naked Gun, maybe more comedy roles might be the direction he goes…?…he has in his career done a few horrors as well…(…no pun intended because I imagine many actors have also…)…but I don’t think that was what was meant specifically so much as action roles…in the interview he also talks about him as an older person, not being able to do his own stunts anymore and how that’s made him feel that the time is right now also…anyway, I wasn’t sure about the Naked Gun reboot but it does look great fun…I love that silly to the point of hilarious type humour… |
