Uk, Spain, Germany, Italy and France put the most in and if Israel is banned, Germany and Italy said they’d leave, and if they stay, the uk and Spain have rumourly said they’d leave. It’s a no win either side so yeah I kind of agree with you there.

i think the contest has always been crap, but it was for a long time a bit of harmless fun. Now, i don't think anyone can consider it fun and therefore there is no point in continuing it

and i can see the EBU also trying to cool down Germany in terms of their ''withdrawal threat'' maybe with an offer of more power in the committee, helping out to try and improve the contest some more :think:
