I have to disagree with you there.... I watched the whole show and I didnt see an erect penis.... even at the end when he stood up before the older bloke shut his curtains. The young lads was not erect

BBEyeSpy 23-07-2007 03:29 PM

Removed by Sunny_01 - tis before the watershed - in fact we do not allow any images like that on this site as we have some very young members

BBEyeSpy 23-07-2007 03:35 PM

although the charator was 14 the actor is 22

~Kizwiz~ 23-07-2007 03:36 PM

I wouldnt say that was erect.... semi I would say...

And I do believe that its alowed to be shown....so long as it isnt fully standing

No, I've lived such a sheltered life.

Of course I do!, and what you saw was semi-erect.

Anyway, this is hardly a discussion

BBEyeSpy 23-07-2007 04:09 PM

I Now this is going to sound stupid but if the penis is going to be shown on TV i cant be any higher than this part of Scotland

BBEyeSpy 23-07-2007 04:09 PM

im not joking

Sunny_01 23-07-2007 04:13 PM

I thought this thread was to discuss whether the material should have been shown on tv or not! Keep it clean and on topic or I lock it

Lauren 23-07-2007 04:13 PM

LOL! Weird laws!

I thought we were discussing that? It's important whether it was erect or not as thats the conditions outlined in the watershed rules.

As most of you know,im in spain at the moment, and it really shows the difference in attitude, when the main channels show porn (full on boners, fannys everything) for free after 11 o clock.lol

I mean an erection is an erection, its not gonna kill you too see one, aslong as its on at an appropriate time,i say erections for everyone.

and anyone who says "eww" to the naked body (unless belonging to jade goody or bubbles from little britain) has serious issues to deal with

He said naked body, meaning both male and female.

And I know MANY straight men who are comfortable and mature enough not to go "eww" at a naked male body - er, you have your own afterall.

Umm maybe you should replace "straight guy" with "immature guy" or "need to grow up a little more guy" or "im so lacking confidence in my own naked body,i dont want to see anyone elses to remind me how puny i really am guy"

:)

I actually thought the programme was fab..... it showed the prejudice that some people still have.

I also watched the programme the previous night about the court case which helped raise issues which led to the legaliation of homosexuality.

I agree, but I still feel the programme was slightly stereotypical with the "public toilet" and "heath" scenes. But it did bring some issues into the spotlight that need to be addressed concerning attitudes towards homosexuality.

BBEyeSpy 23-07-2007 04:34 PM

i thought it was a bit over the top

i don't see why all the characters had to snort cocaine and smoke all the time :puzzled:

~Kizwiz~ 23-07-2007 04:36 PM

I agree with the stereotypical part but I guess we cant have a spot on view. For me it showed the vunrability which still exists. I was under the assumtion, and wrongly so, that gay rights stood firm but there are still some extreamly prejudice people in society who are out to victimis.

Psylocke 23-07-2007 04:37 PM

I know this sounds funny, but in actuality, the toilet thing is quite common in in "Gay scene" im not talking about gay people,im talking about the "Scene".It goes back to the times when being was illegal and the only ay you could get a slap and a tickle was in a toilet.sad but true.
