On the whole yes.I like most of the members and the chat in the general section of the forum but I've not really enjoyed posting as much about BB this year, whether it's the standard of debate or just not as much of an interesting series, I'm not sure.

I feel of late the humour has returned to the forum which has not always been there in recent months. Some take stuff too literally.

Ill have to agree with Dan I mean I still enjoy posting in the general chat bit sport, music, tv etc but not so much in the BB bit. I think thats why i like posting most in the post BB bit rather than when BB is on if that makes sense

For me, TIBB is not much different from when I first joined here. Of course, there have been new members arriving and a small amount disappearing, but apart from that, it is business & pleasure as per-usual..

There will be problems which occur from time to time and we can thank a heavily moderated forum for sorting out problems, "as and when they arrive."

Naturally, if any members can pass on information to a mod or admin about grievances they may have with a member or suspicions, etc.. etc.. also about anything else problematic which affects the forum in anyway, it can eventually lead to a problem ending or lessening, depending on, "who it is" & "what it is", of course?

I know that this is the best Big Brother forum in my opinion and no matter what problems happen, the forum and the members and the management continue onward, regardless.

This forum has been here for a long time and for anyone wishing to leave, the door is always open. But, most stay, because they know it is the right thing to do:thumbs:

One Word - No.

LadyMacbeth 29-07-2007 11:34 PM

If it is ok to put my tuppence worth in as a newbie I'd say it's a pity I seem to have joined at a time of inter-forum friction/disaffection. The people who have deigned to speak to me have been pleasant enough, but I may not get a chance to see what the others are like at this rate.

SiMoN! 29-07-2007 11:52 PM

tibb hasnt been the same for me since cbb - it not been as fun

but i am hopeing after BB8 it might go bake to the way it was - probs wont - but oh well

Any forum member, new or old has the right to make a comment in any thread within this forum LadyMacbeth, so don't ever concern yourself about asking if it "is okay" to put your tuppence worth in as a newbie. I certainly welcome any honest reply and I am sure that is the same for the majority here.

There is plenty of inter-forum friction/disaffection on this forum.

Very recently, there was arguments over Chanelle on a thread and because passions went too far and arguments broke out, it had to be locked. (Silly stuff really?)

Hostilities which go from something like that, can reproduce on another thread and so on & so on & so on, depending on what & why....?

This thread seems to be quite negative sounding, but we have been here many times at TIBB and this is why talking it out, can sometimes be the best way? (But only sometimes), I might add:rolleyes:

Of course, every forum has problems and each forum has their own way of dealing with it.

Don't be disheartened by anything you see in this thread or other threads, or what anyone may say to you in the form of "Chinese Whispers", etc...

This forum is stronger than you or many other's think and regardless of what some defeatists may say, that this forum is less than it was or more moans & groans about negativity, etc.. it is totally untrue.

Stick with TIBB and in time, this thread will just pass like the wind, but some members will say negative stories and propaganda rubbish about (This forum has changed for the worse) Don't believe that!!!! It is untrue completely:mad:

Certain members do have problems with other members and that can cause problems within the forum at times, but it get's dealt with and that is guaranteed....

I hope your time here LadyMacbeth is a good one:thumbs:

Don't be put off  We all just love to complain, haha.
Nah but seriously, I think the main reason many of us don't like it "as much" is because the novelty has worn off for us, but for you it's all sparkly new.

I think it's probably just down to the flood of new members during bb8.

CassetteFinger 30-07-2007 03:37 AM

No, but yes. (I sound like Lauren from Catherine Tate).

I think it's a lot more argumentative and always teetering on the edge of arguments and accusations. But members are still super-friendly.
Don't you mean vicky pollard says Yeah but no but lauren says am i bovered.

Ditto!

Plus , we got nothing good on TV to distract us this summer .

Sophii3x 30-07-2007 09:04 AM

Nope. I've been here for nearly a year and I don't come on here as often as I used to. I think it's changed for me since I got my warnings and also I prefer the place when BB isn't on. It's easier aswell just to talk to certain people on MSN.

But don't get me wrong, I'm still grateful to all the mods/admin for all the effort they put in to run this place!

Sunny_01 30-07-2007 02:28 PM

most of the time yes

not bad when only 19 people out of the huge membership dont enjoy it as much as they used to.

Ann 30-07-2007 02:50 PM

the answer to that is yes as ive been a member since Jan 2007 and ive grown to love all members on here plus ive made loads aswell and I do adore coming on here and seeing what members write too

Nice one Billy.. :laugh2:

Open a book to see how long before I'm banned now.. I see they removed my custom status and mood.

Sophii3x 30-07-2007 02:54 PM

Aww shame to here that, Linda.
I hated this place when I was arguing and bickering with certain people.

Not me! (I'm not saying anything).

Captain.Remy 30-07-2007 03:14 PM

Nothing has changed since I'm here (february 2006). All the members are great, even if sometimes we have arguments, but it's like in life, different opinions make people angry sometimes. TIBB is the first site I visit the morning, and it's always a pleasure. I enjoy reading it even if I don't post, sometimes I laugh and sometimes I want to defend my opinions. By the way, the members didn't judge me because I'm french and they don't nowadays and I apreciate that a lot, that's why I stay and I enjoy it. TIBB is the only forum where I am registered, it brings everything: Big Brother, games and friends.
Thanks for everything guys, it's always a pleasure to talk with you !

MarkWaldorf 30-07-2007 03:16 PM

Is Linda banned?
