No, it's still Dermot O' Leary's show. Unfortunately. (not suggesting at all that I want it to be Nikki's though!)

It's become a show for Dermot O' Leary to make an absolute fool of himself, in front of an audience only there to further boost his gigantic ego, he is a cringeworthy, unprofessional host and should definitely be replaced if the show is to get any better. He is regularly upstaged by his guests when they don't mention Brian as one of their favourites straight away, forcing him to bring Brian into the conversation, instigate the propaganda and immediately getting the audience to back Brian while putting down the guest's real favourite housemate until they give in and say something nice about Brian.

He's even upstaged by the callers. Yesterday I watched the show on Channel 4 for the first time in a long time, and was pleased to hear that a caller dared to call Carole (another one of Dreary O' Leary's favourites) "manipulative", and even more pleased to see Dermot's reaction to this phonecall! He couldn't bear have anyone tell him what Carole is really like, I thought his head was going to pop!

So that's what it's become. It was more enjoyable years ago but now it's become a daily oppurtunity for Dermot O' Leary to show us all what an idiot he really is.

Yeah and in those 5 or 6 minutes, the ratings get better for BBLB, and who knows, they may ditch one of the other reporters, and make it three days:bigsmile:

Well, you cant judge her on that, she hasn't presented, well co hosted one programme and did well once she was given more lines, in my opinion she will be a great presenter, especially in childrens TV, as she is very good with kids, and Her reporting is 5 stars.

Overnight ratings for BBLB last week according to Channel4Sales:

Tuesday: 641,500
Wednesday: 456,700
Thursday: 451,600
Friday: 444,300

Oh look, the ratings are at their lowest when Nikki is on...

A lot do, because she would not get an extra slot if people didn't want to watch her, have you read BBLB source recently, 80% of the BB viewers have written to BBLB for Nikki to get more time in her slot, and it has all been positive.

Friday nights, but no one knew Nikki would be in it untill dermot said it at the end of the last 10minutes remaining, and a lot of Nikki fans did not know, as well as me, but that ratings looks good for that time slot.

Anyway, the thread is asking if BBLB has become Nikki Grahame's show.

The answer is No.

You cannot judge that based on 3-6 minutes of airtime a week.

BBLB is a Big Brother magazine show, not the Nikki show.

And yet the ratings are still higher when Nikki is not on. How do you explain that? After all, you don't know if she's on until Dermot says at the start of the show anyway...

This year Nicky from BB8 goes to Chilli farm with last years Nikki, and guess who spoke and got the airtime in that task, so yes she has stolen BB8 housemates thunder.

So your saying that figure is bad, when it is quite high in that time slot.

No. She may have stolen Nicky's thunder, but that does not mean she has stolen the thunder from the entire show.

I'm happy to acknowledge that because even I prefer Nikki to Nicky.

He did not say that on friday, and and even if he would have said that on start of the show, a lot of people who love her might not of known she would be on again, because she did it the day before, and might not of watched BBLB as they watch it for her slot, the best thing for BBLB is to announce in the start of the week that which housemate would do their slot in which days, anyways you haven't replied to 805 of BB viewers.

So if we go by your logic then BBLB on Thursday only go 7,300 more viewers than Friday. Big difference.

And it got 200,000 more viewers on Tuesday, on a day when Nikki wasn't on...

Yeah, I do prefer Nikki. But that's only because Nicky is one of the most boringest housemates ever to grace our screens.

This does not mean my feelings towards Nikki change.

Farhad , you cannot go by ratings. Big Brothers Little Brother is a thirty minuet show. Ratings are taken quaterly , meaning their is a figure for each fifteen minuets [and an overrun is an overrun is present in a live show].

Nikki is not on for fifteen minuets. Nikki happens to be on for three minuets at the most - meaning their is no accurate way possible to judge if Nikki is really bringing in the viewers.

Furthermore , Big Brothers Little Brother's demographic is that of a routine audience who are likely to tune in automatically every day regardless of what guests and what not are present.

FURTHERMORE , Nikki is never advertised to be on until the viewers who actually determine the ratings are ALREADY tuned in to watch the show.

We can draw one conclusion from these arguments.

Nikki makes no difference , and shall never make any difference , to the ratings as long as she is a second tier , three minuet , novelty support act to the circus that Mr. O' Leary operates.

Nikki seems top be her fair share of criticism to in all the Nikki BBLM threads that have been started recently.

As for air time 6 minutes isn't that much extra time.

So having less than 200,000 people watch your show is a success?
