Less of the hand waving and hard evidence please. I have told you what in another thread
:cloud:

Any hue back on topic

In todays Daily Star, after that stuff about Chiggy unless you are really intersted.

The twins confirm who they are signed up with as an agent.

Plans to release cover versions of Barbie Girl and possibly Jinglebell Rock (Old news now)

The most riske picture is of the pair, apparently just wrapped in one large pink towel. They may be wearing stuff underneath, but hard to say

Also they want to release their own fashion collection under the Samanda name

Big Reveal
Mattel wants to make Barbie style dolls based on the twins. I hope that means they get to gang on to the clean girl image a lot longer.

Some stuff on Brimanda how Brian had to sneak out to see his beloved Amanda :cheer:

(Which of course a load of sceptics is saying is all lies - They know who they are and what they need to do to substantiate their claims - put up or shut up)

Media Watch - Twins in the Daily Star - Day Three

The bottom bit may give cause for concern, but this is the over hyping of some sub editor.

I got my copy early this morning and visited my favourite coffee shop - Cafe Nero, Clayton Street Newcastle upon tyne before work.

Secret Sex thingy - All that was is that Davina, at the Wrapparty noticed how the fans were keeping Brian and Amanda apart so grabbed both of them, although not at the same time and arranged for them to have a private room so they could have quality time together. Reading between the lines, lots of kissing, but probably nothing more.

You could strangle some Sub eds at times. I still remember on the front page of the Church of England Newspaper "Mrs Cary - I'm where God wants me to be page 3":blush: but I digress

Elsewhere, twins related, how their divorced parents were brought back together at the final with their sister Claire (is she still around on TiBB or have we scared her off ) This is the first time the family have been together since the twins were 13!!!

Very heart warming

Also Twins in corsetts and how they did that photo shoot

Oh some stuff about Chiggy if anyone is seriously interested

BTW The Daily Star was quite good to Paul Clarke when the Sun was ripping him to shreds, so lets ease off the vitriol for the moment please :nono:

Captain.Remy 05-09-2007 06:54 AM

Wow what a hot news ! Burn the Daily Star please lol

nicola001 05-09-2007 09:24 AM

Sometimes you just want to get away from people. :nono:

The heat warming bit

Unfortunately the Daily Star website is not updated first thing, and you need to be wary of what the sub editor has decided is a good headline

AndyJK 05-09-2007 04:38 PM

Are you working for the Daily Star now then Sticks?

Sticks 05-09-2007 09:27 PM

No

It is just that I am aware of tabloid history and Big Brother. In 2001The Daily Star actually got it right. Plus this time, the same group that owns the Daily Star, Express Group, also own OK and New, which some of the Daily star is rehashing in order to sell it's magazine. Mirror Group does this with the Mirror and Heat Magazine.

In the past the Daily Star has been surprisingly credible.

Media Watch - Twins in the Daily Star - Day Four

No sign of the twins on the front cover but they are inside

1) The twins sight seeing central London and finding it weird people know who they are and can tell them apart. A shot of them either side of a guard on duty.

2) More about the release of Barbie girl due for release in the week of 17 September, watch out for that one

Further inside a columnist saying how she hated them at first but was impressed that the twins never gossiped between each other about other housemates or got involved with backbiting. Also mentioned that the agent Peter Shalit is steering them on thye serious long term sensible path away from showing bits of their body they shouldn't in certain magazines (Chanelle take note :nono: ) That would be a relief

Oh something about Chanelle and Ziggy, but who cares about them

For the record, I am more inclined to give credence to the Daily Star than the Sun, because of what happened to Paul Clarke, my first client in 2001

"the Daily Star has been surprisingly credible" is a good example of an oxymoron. The day the Daily Star becomes credible is the day the Moon turns to a giant blob of marmite.

Let's cut to the chase here Sticks. The Star printed Paul's story to make money. Simple as that. They didn't do it as a favour to Paul. Paul and Helen's relationship was big news at the time and even I, more younger and niave back in those days, would have picked up a copy. Ok, so they were probably right about Paul. Whoopee! Hooray for the Daily Star! It was Paul's story written in his words after all, so it should be the truth (whatever that truth is suppose to be). One factual story in six or so years of fiction doesn't elevate the Star to a bastion of British journalism and forthrightness.

If you want to point out newspaper stories about BB contestants fair enough. But I do take issue when you describe the Star as credible. Stick (no pun intended) to your Newcastle Times is what I say, and to the rest of you don't believe a word printed in the Star, Sun, Mirror, NOTW and the rest of them. They are all bad as each other.

Sticks 06-09-2007 06:51 PM

I only mentioned the credibility because those who did not like what they read, decided to shoot the messenger.

Compared to the Sun, the Star was more on target, which I admit is paradoxical.

Any hue

What Vanessa Phelps has said about the twins, Brian, and Chiggy

Sticks 07-09-2007 05:10 AM

OK I missed this one

The headline to this story about the record was "Twins get their hits out"

Anyone see the inuendo

I sometimes despair at sub-editors
