The proof against it = It's never been caught or properly found.
We're more than capable of tracking it down these days =] MORE than capable.

If there was a creature of this sort to be found, we would have found it.
Common sense is the proof it doesn't exist, such as the mention of its hair/excrement not ever being found.

If the only argument anyone can present is "oh well you can't prove it doesn't exist, so it does! plus, look at these videos online!" then that is just plain stupid. Mainly because, to prove it doesn't exist I would have to show you the entire planet all at once without any traces of Bigfoot.

If someone hadn't started the rumours about Bigfoot, then nobody would have "filmed" it and you wouldn't even be aware of it. Hence, the only reason you believe in it is because of the media. Without that, the thought of Bigfoot would never have even entered your head.

No-one on this forums ever seen me before, but you still no I exist.

Retroman 07-10-2007 10:40 PM

That's because you're typing on a forum, holding a conversation =]
So of course you exist.
That was an awful comparison to make.

When a Bigfoot learns to type, then registers for thisisbigbrother.com, get back to me.

:laugh2:

Sorry, but thats the funniest thing I've heard all day! Bigfoot coming on to talk about Big Brother! :laugh3:

And yes it was terrible comparison, but you haven't been on the moon but you know it exists! How do you know scientists aren't just tricking us and its all an optical illusion?

Retroman 07-10-2007 10:50 PM

Lol...
1. Id ask them what technology they used in order to create a giant circular image in the sky viewable all over the planet.

2. Id ask them why they have so much time on their hands that they wanted to trick us into thinking we have our own moon.

Oh, plus scientifically, if the moon didn't exist then the tides would become out of control and the world would end =]

But if it was an illusion, that'd be proof that people can be tricked into believing in things. Such as Bigfoot.

Well, who do you people trust more scientists or you? Because the scientists could just tell us that the tides would become out of control and the world would end. How do we know if they're lyin are not?

I don't know why they want to trick - but then why would anyone start the bigfoot legend?

Science isn't a matter of trust, it's just plain fact.
You could research every single piece of scientific evidence yourself and find out it's true if you wanted.

That's how I know if they're lying or not, because if I do the research myself, I come to the same conclusions as they did. And so would you.

Legends = Stories.
Why do people make up stories?
Because they're interesting, imaginative and most stories come from a time when there were no televisions/computers/games, but books and tales to keep us entertained.

Like I said, there are many animals and bugs etc that are far rarer than Bigfoot, and much harder to find, yet they've all been found =] because they are real.

The moons a story!

Retroman 07-10-2007 11:14 PM

It is?
"Once upon a time, there was a moon! the people in my local village SWEAR they saw it! it was big, and round and scary looking..."

Ah yea, I remember that one =] lol.

Look out of the window, there should be a moon, but no Bigfoot.
The moon is something that exists, that the occasional person made stories up about/ nursery rhymes etc.

Bigfoot is something that comes from a story.

It's the equivalent of believing in orcs because of Lord of the Rings being written.

If you can say bigfoot is made-up like orcs, I can say the moon is too - there is no evidence for alot of things. We can never be too sure about anything.

Retroman 07-10-2007 11:20 PM

It's outside of your window godammit! lol
I refuse to maintain an argument with someone telling me the moon is a trick made by scientists.

So the moon is fake and Bigfoot is real.
Let that be the end of it.

To me it sounds like you enjoy believing everything is the opposite of what it is, in order to make things more interesting for yourself.

You'd much rather believe im not real, the grass isn't real, the stars and the sky aren't real, but Bigfoot, Yeti's, Loch ness monsters, Ghosts and trolls are all out there.

Which I can only assume is your way of running away from reality, for some unknown reason.

Emmm . . . okay lol.

Getting a little psychological.

If you can say Bigfoot is fake, I can say the moon is fake - simple as.

Anyway, I checked. The moon isn't outside my window tonight.

Retroman 07-10-2007 11:30 PM

You can say whatever you like is fake...
And deny that the huge circular light in the sky is real.

Doesn't make it true =]
Many people said the planet was flat, but they were wrong.
Problem is, you're the type of person to say that perhaps they were all right and the planet is actually flat. Which is just your way of being awkward.

This arguments just steadily become more petty.
Your way of proving that bigfoot exists is by saying something completely mad, and claiming that the moon is fake.

There's no logic there at all.
You might as well say "That tree in your garden isn't real, it's actually an alien lifeform in disguise living off the soil so it can someday fly back to its own planet, that's why Bigfoot is real"

It makes no sense, and has nothing to do with it.
It scares me to think some people think like this, it really does.

SparkyX3 08-10-2007 03:32 AM
