Only a small area of North Yorkshire is "North East"
These are:
* Stockton-on-Tees South of River Tees
* Redcar and Cleveland
* Middlesbrough

Sunny_01 24-10-2007 12:07 PM

ooh oooh Girth where you working - can we have beer together, can we, can we, can we???

GiRTh 24-10-2007 12:24 PM

I'll be working at Jaycare. Address: Jaycare Ltd, New York Industrial Park, NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE, Tyne & Wear NE27 0QF

Is it near the angle of the North? :whistle:

Talk about stereotyping.

Sunny_01 24-10-2007 12:25 PM

I would imagine you will pass the big old rusty angel of the North when you travel here, you cant miss it, it stands on a hill at the edge of the A1 looking all rusty and horrible.

So when you heading north then G?

GiRTh 24-10-2007 12:28 PM

It'll be near to Christmas, maybe even new year. Of course I'll have a beer with you Sunny. It'll have to be your round though.:whistle:

Sunny_01 24-10-2007 12:31 PM

I would love to buy you beer G!

:laugh2:

GiRTh 24-10-2007 12:33 PM

If it is only 10, then that would be just enough to visit one of Newcastle's city centre pubs on a Saturday afternoon when Newcastle United are not playing.

I would suggest the Weatherspoons Union Rooms just across the road from the central station.

supernoodles! 24-10-2007 04:09 PM

Well...11 now lol
That sounds like a good idea but i reckon half of the members are under 18,including myself:bawling:

Lauren 24-10-2007 05:00 PM

Some are under 18, but a large chunk of us are over 18 - I can see about 6.

Nicola 24-10-2007 08:26 PM

I'm over 18 so I could get in a pub easily enough! I look young but can be served drinks now so that's not a problem for me any more.
