How brave were they?!

Jordan has gone waaaaaaaaay up in my estimation!

Me & my housemates were screaming just watching it!

LEE 27-01-2004 11:06 AM

I missed this last night as I went to bed embarrasingly early at 7pm  as I was so shattered after the Liverpool gig.

Looking forward to watching the next one though

BusyBee 27-01-2004 01:36 PM

I hate to admit this, but Jordan has really gone up in my estimation. I would have run a mile.

But please Kerry grow up. You knew what you were getting into and for you to go all precious over the creatures in the jungle was over the top. If you cant take the heat then get out.

I hope they arent too hungry when she has to do a bush tucker trial.

BigSister 27-01-2004 05:22 PM

I missed it but I taped it

I saw the trials though yuck

kaphc 27-01-2004 08:33 PM

Kerry is obviously going for the Danniella Westbrook sympathy vote then. I may sound very cynical, but surely some of her reactions are one big act.

Stunning revelation of yesterday was how good-looking Alex Best actually is.

Didn't see the first trial though, so I haven't got any respect for Jordan yet!

LEE 27-01-2004 08:49 PM

Damn I won't be watching tonights show either cos I've just discovered it clashes with 'Angel' (I'm sure I'll be flicking over in the commercial breaks though  )

BusyBee 28-01-2004 11:34 AM

Kerry is sooooo annoying me. Pull yourself together girl. So you've got to do a bush tucker trial, thought that was part of the show. Amazing how suddenly she didnt feel well after she was nominated.

I also found out last night that Alex actually speaks:thumbs:

BigSister 28-01-2004 02:13 PM

LOL busy Bee

I will be intresting to see how Kerry gets on in the trial

Di2001 28-01-2004 07:56 PM

Yes, wasn't Jordon brave (and Razor Ruddock!!). Me and hubby were screaming at the TV. Oh that discusting eel and snake - yuck!!

Then last night we had Jonny and the ostriches (?spelling). Have to admit, he's getting on my nerves!

Looking forward to see if Kerry copes with the trial tonight.

Amy 28-01-2004 11:32 PM

Kerry whats her face got two meals then!
Peter did very well, I would have run a mile at the Snakes and Spiders YUCK!

BigSister 29-01-2004 04:21 PM

Yeah Amy I agree at the snakes and spiders yuck

blinkinlovely 30-01-2004 12:47 AM

Any news from tonights prog?? Went to cinema due to OH's birthday!:xyxwave:

Amy 30-01-2004 12:51 AM

Jennie Bond will be doing the next bush tucker trail, can't remember what it's called but the task means she has to go under ground with rats and co

Amy 30-01-2004 11:11 AM

I think Jennie has done quite well in the trail today

BigSister 30-01-2004 05:47 PM

Thanks for that Amy

BusyBee 30-01-2004 05:58 PM

I must admit the idea of being buried underground with 'company' would mean that my fellow campers would be going hungry - there is no way I could do that.:nono::nono:

BigSister 30-01-2004 05:59 PM

No me either Busy Bee

Amy 30-01-2004 11:04 PM

She did really well!!! Rats don't bother me that much! now had it been full of snakes the camp would have had no food due to me being a wimp

Amy 30-01-2004 11:15 PM

Just found this on I'm a celeb.....

LONDON (Reuters) - Nearly half the terrestrial TV audience have tuned in every night this week to watch ITV's jungle survival show "I'm a Celebrity...Get me out of Here," according to the broadcaster.

A variation on the Big Brother theme,"I'm a Celebrity..." pitches ten well-known faces into the Australian jungle to fend for themselves for two weeks.

Viewers vote them off the show one by one, eventually handing the winner a bonanza of publicity and an often much-needed career boost.

Some ten million viewers have been tuning in every night this week, with Wednesday touching a peak of 10.8 million, ITV said in a statement on Friday.

"The atmosphere in the camp is sure to get more tense next week when the evictions begin," it added.

The programme, whose contestants include topless model Jordan, convicted fraudster Lord Brockett and punk legend Johnny Rotten, captured 50 per cent of 16-34 year olds from Monday to Thursday.

The show revolves around contestants undergoing humiliating and often frightening tasks involving snakes, insects and crocodiles, in return for meal tokens.

The tabloids keep up the momentum by devoting pages of newsprint every day to either real or imagined liaisons between the contestants, who are filmed around the clock in their jungle camp.

On Friday, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond will be buried alive in a box, which will gradually be filled with water.

Bookmakers William Hill said former Sex Pistols lead singer Rotten is 6/4 favourite.

I have never wanted to watch this before, and kept well away, condemning it as a big brother spin off, with lots of wannabe celebrities. This year however, I thought I would give it a go, because there seemed to be a good mix of celebrities and I am HOOKED!! I take back all I have ever said. Jordan has proved to be lovely, so different to who I would have thought her to be, and Johnny is hilarious! Its great!!

Di2001 31-01-2004 03:57 PM

OH MY GOD!!!

Big respect to Jennie Bond and those rats!!!

Wonder how Rocket Brocket will get on tonight!

I actually like John Lydon. He's alright. He reminds me a lot of
http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/im...oeandson_3.jpg Albert Steptoe

Jordan is OK, but I wish she would tell Peter Andre to **** off. He is a walking cliche'. Dearie me, he is pretty narcissistic and vacuous, your archetypal 'himbo'.

I like and admire Diane Modahl as a human being, but she, along with Mike Read and Angie Best don't really rumble or even faintly rustle in the jungle do they?

Jenny was fantastically stoic in the rat infested coffin.

Just don't even talk to me about Kerry McFadden. I think it's all calculated, so wimpy and pathetic.

Amy 31-01-2004 09:37 PM

Do you mean this Kerry ROB .....
