Don't dance songs have their own chart? :puzzled:

Sarah. 13-01-2008 05:55 PM

Callum 13-01-2008 05:58 PM

Relax, take it easy by mika should be much higher in the chart imo.

MarkWaldorf 13-01-2008 05:59 PM

How many singles has he released? I still thought Happy Ending was charting.

Yes but this is top 40 based on single and download sales and Basshunter obviously sold the most.

Callum 13-01-2008 06:01 PM

Happy Ending is #39 in the chart and he's released 5 songs, I think.

True, it was miles ahead in sales.

Matt08 13-01-2008 06:02 PM

Love this Basshunter song, just downloaded it from itunes. It's a much better song than Britney's IMO and I also love Piece Of Me!

I know, really surprised at how well it's done to be honest.

Callum 13-01-2008 09:32 PM

What does everything think of the new number one then?

I'd really like to see Britney have number one next week, she deserves it most.

Wasted 13-01-2008 09:37 PM

*breathes a heavy sigh of relief*

Thank goodness. I was worried all week that Soulja Boy might get #1. That would've been a huge stain on the history of music. Forget music actually, it would've been a stain on history - fullstop.

KKBL 13-01-2008 09:39 PM

i uased to hate soulja boy until i listend to it a few times and its realy catchy

I don't get the dance charts. How can Basshunter be No#1 in the main chart, but be No#2 in the dance charts?

Callum 20-01-2008 06:02 PM

Thanks guys. Yay at Adele being number #2, and she's only entered on downloads

Maybe they only release it in the dance chart sales, I have no idea.

Pipergun 20-01-2008 06:10 PM

I think Robyn should've got higher than #10!

I really like it - it's fresh and different... but then again #10 isn't bad!

With Leon's single slipping away quite quickly now, at #15... although he stayed at #1 for 3/4 weeks or whatever, he's clearly not done as well as Leona, Shayne etc...

I bet his record company are secretly a bit unsure about the success of his next single/album!

Isn't it to do with how often it's played in registered nightclubs, DJs etc, and not so much sales? ... Or have I just dreamed that up!? Lol!

Callum 20-01-2008 06:15 PM

Pipergun, I know your a Cascada fan. Could you tell me if they're single 'What Hurts The Most' has been released in the UK yet?
