Do you English people get a mid-term this term too? We never do as the term is only about 6-8 weeks long because we finish late May. I think the holidays were get are the only good thing Ireland has going for it.

British people are overall so lucky, you all finish school in may while most of the European countries finish in June, if not July.

:shocked: Yours must be one of the only ones which finishes that late. Year 11 at my school finish in 2 weeks to go on study leave and then the rest of the school finishes in early June.

My school always finishes around 20th July. This year I finish in May/June though.
