1. He had faith in it, but it didn't suit his musical direction. If you listen to clips of Departure, it actually wouldn't fit in with the style [considering he was going for a Prince/Michael Jackson sound]
2. Would have gone nowhere because he's not well known here.
3. Sold it to Simon/Leona after hearing about HER talent.
4. He didn't want it back. It's just a bonus track on the australian version of the album.
5. Why would he want to "spong" [dictionary please] off Leona? Wouldn't it be the other way round seeing as SHE'S singing HIS song. Not the other way round?

gameset&match please.
He sounds like he's got chopsticks stuffed up his nose.

TO you; she may displaying the inner emotion of missing a loved one.
TO me; she could be pulling faces by suffering from constipation or having a major migrane.

I dont really think you're getting it, as it's all a matter of "opinion", IYO, she performs with great emotion, in mine, she performs like a cross between a wailing cat dragged through a hedge, and a cardbox box, so yes it is an opinion.

[quote/]Well at least Leona actually sung her properly. He sounds like a robot with nasal polyps! + to right he's no known over here. Doesn't look he's had or sound physically possibel to have had success in the US whereas Leona has and she's from the UK

KKBL 08-05-2008 09:24 PM

Jesse & Ryan Tedderr got together to write stuff for Jesses album.they wrote Bleeding then recorded it.Jesse relised it was an amazing song but it wasnt for him so Ryan played it to Simon and Simon gave it to Leona.

She released it originally and if people didn't like how she sung it then why has it been number virtually all over the entire planet.

A hideous, embarrasing, desperate and a somewhat cringe worthy attempt at a Leona Lewis classic.

Well. Not really, to be honest in my opinion. So your basically saying sounding like Jesse McCartney shows no emotion. But being him does?? :conf2:

Well if you base it one your cat theory then you did. Or maybe I'm wrong. It's late. I cba to go into in depth debates lol

Tom4784 08-05-2008 10:35 PM

I like Jesse McCartney but i think this version is a bit dull, it's missing something i think. It's lacking a hook i think.

Ross 09-05-2008 10:16 PM

Dreadful. Pure dreadful. Leona's is so much better, if Jesse released it I doubt it would of done well here I mean, nobody knows him really..

officialleafan 09-05-2008 10:25 PM

That has got to be...the worst song i've ever heard

It sounds like one of them stupid remix songs which makes the artist's voice sound high pitched. Dancing in the dark style...if you get me?

It's really bad.

Xander 09-05-2008 10:37 PM

Don't like the actual song itself but prefer his version rather than Leona's, I just generally find her annoying and when she performs she has no stage presence.

MrGaryy 09-05-2008 10:48 PM

Darenn, no disrespect but you have to come to terms with the fact that Leona Lewis is just MUCH better than he ever could be!
