I felt bad that Iona didn't make it even to the top 3 on Tuesday, but unfortunately not everyone can get through. She proved herself to be talented and determined though, because she performed well despite having had an accident.
I really like Flava, but they've got a bright future ahead of them... from what I've heard, they'll be going to LA. I would've liked to see them go through. Having said that, the Cheeky Monkeys are probably more suited to the Royal Variety performance. I think they're really cute - especially the little boy - and I've got to admit that they have talent considering the way they dance and their ages!
It's unfortunate that big dance acts don't tend to make it through, but I think when we're talking about real talent the solo acts tend to shine. It's just the way it works. Tonight, I thought the votes were pretty much spot on. As talented as I think Jeremy is, I thought it was important for the judges to be harsh on him because of his mistakes rather than expecting to sail through.
I'm a bit gutted about last night's show though, because I loved Charlie Green. But he really let himself down with the song. I just hope he isn't too upset and continues to persevere - he has real star quality. Under the right management, I don't think BGT is the last time we'll be hearing from him. And, to top it off, Strike are pretty good - they put a lot of hard work in and their act is original.
