sometimes, If they are troublemakers or speak in text language or use 'da' instead of 'the' but Everyone's new at some point so we just gotta help people adjust.

Actually it was 4 years ago, but due to complications with moving, PC troubles and a terrible memory I had to create a new accounts. (Don't worry mods I can't ever access old accounts and I was never banned!)
what was the username of your last account?

Hugo 17-06-2008 08:22 PM

tbh I don't think you had an old account but thats just my opinion.

Legend 17-06-2008 09:06 PM

Not half as much as some "old" members no.

Could this not have been posted in the thread last week which also complained about new members?

Lauren 17-06-2008 09:09 PM

Sometimes the newer members know the rules more than the older members - and are much less likely to involve themselves in the arguments/forum politics. So no.

I got annoyed with people on the road when I was learning cos they were so inconciderate. Beeping at me when I was slow to leave a roundabout etc. They were a learner once but they dont give a sh*t. I make sure now that I am considerate towards learners and treat them how I would have wanted to be treated.

Its the same for people on forums. When new people come on some current members get all possessive, thinking they have more right to be on here, act authoritive to other members etc, such as when people screw at multiple threads, not putting things in certain threads etc.

People are supposed to be equal on here and new members should be welcomed and treated the same, not bitched about and undermimed.

K...soz rant over! lol

Only if they post the same thing over and over again, break rules, or have the spelling of a 2 year old cat. :)

Bacon 17-06-2008 10:36 PM

I was in Crete for all of last week.

tinkerbell 17-06-2008 11:24 PM

Some of them can be soooooo annoying by being ghetto or posting pointless stuff and getting a bit too excited .

Bacon 17-06-2008 11:25 PM

Do i? Night night

Arneldo 17-06-2008 11:26 PM

Yes, but just as much as some of the old members. It annoys me when new members join and dont stick by the rules and when you try and correct them, they are just rude.

Xander 17-06-2008 11:26 PM

As Ash said we were all new members once. It can get frustrating from time to time, but you realize when we were all new members the older members might of got frustrated at us. But there are some that haven't even read the rules (I know I never did) and post thing things in the wrong section, speak text language etc etc...

sol 18-06-2008 01:03 AM

It can be a little frustrating but like others have said, you have to remember that we were all newbies at one point.

Well, there is hardly that much to do on a Big Brother forum when Big Brother itself is not on! lol

It's not just a Big Brother though, there's load of different sections on here. You can pretty much talk about anything.

You will be surprised. The General Chat and Chat&Games usually fill up with interesting threads, and forum games start to get played  Stick around after BB9 and you'll see
