Callum 10-07-2008 08:06 PM

I'm going to see this tomorrow defenitley. Tonight I forgot I had to go out for cousin's birthday. I can't wait though, I'm so excited for it.

Saw it just and OMG. Best film of the year, and best musical since Grease! The movie itself is just so fun. Meryl Streep is as fantastic as always. Amanda Seyfried is a bit annoying, Julie is fantastic, though Pierce isn't a great singer it doesn' matter because its like kareoke - FUN!

BigSister 10-07-2008 11:51 PM

lol i camt imagine him singing anyway lol. Glad you enjoyed it

Callum 11-07-2008 11:15 PM

Oh my god, what a fantastic film. I was in tears of joy at the end, it was so good. I loved every single minute of it. Best musical ever in my opinion. It had a mix of everything in it, humour, romance it was just perfect. Julie Walters had me in stiches, she was so funny in it and the singing was just amazing. Meryl Streep is such an amazing actress and she actually has a beautiful voice. I'm definitley going to go and see it again. It's a film for everyone. Also a tip when the end credits come on stay until the end and they sing two extra songs, Waterloo and Dancing Queen again. Best film of the year by far.

MarkWaldorf 12-07-2008 12:25 PM

Seeing this todayy.

MarkWaldorf 12-07-2008 01:17 PM

Is Gimme Gimme Gimme in the film, Callum?

Callum 12-07-2008 01:19 PM

It's in the film yeah but not all of it like you only hear a bit of the song, it's mainly used for background music. The best song of the film though is Dancing Queen, just when you see them all running across the bridge and singing to it, it's fantastic.

MarkWaldorf 12-07-2008 01:21 PM

Boo, no fair. I liked that song. But the movies good, yeah?

Callum 12-07-2008 01:23 PM

Yeah it's excellent. Julie Walters is hilarious in it, and Meryl Streep is excellent. At the end when Julie Walters sung Take a Chance On Me, there wasn't a single person not laughing.

MarkWaldorf 12-07-2008 01:42 PM

Why was it sad? LOL

Ummm, I really liked Mama Mia, Dancing Queen, SOS and The Winner Takes It All.
You?

Callum 12-07-2008 06:34 PM

Same as you but I also really liked Slipping Through My Fingers and Lay All Your Love On Me.

MarkWaldorf 12-07-2008 06:35 PM

I don't know them ones. LOL
It was weird seeing them sing ABBA songs you don't know, cause like every ABBA song is classic - and to not know one feels weird.

Callum 12-07-2008 06:38 PM

LOL, Meryl Streep really showed she could sing on Slipping Through My Fingers and The Winner It Takes All;

^Slipping Through My Fingers

^The Winner Takes It All

^Lay All Your Love On Me

MarkWaldorf 12-07-2008 06:47 PM

OHHH! Yes, I recognise them now. Slipping Through My Fingers was when they were getting ready for the wedding, right?

Callum 12-07-2008 06:50 PM

Yeah, I loved that one. It was quite emotional.

MrGaryy 12-07-2008 07:46 PM

I'm seeing it on the 18th!
