When someone says their opinion about one of their favourite housemates, you jump on their backs to hell.
But its fine for you to say something about one of your favourite housemates.

You know this is a discussion forum right?

Yes, she may have over reacted, but I'd rather someone who may have genuine concerns and dislike for arguments than people who would quickly stab you in the back.
am in love! O.O

i think this is the best describing how they were treating kat.
i was worried that not many people will see this! pewww!

To be fair, I think if they said that to her face she would break down into hysterics again; which is not good for anyone. Mario made it quite clear how he felt when she was in the room and I think she was made fully aware of the other housemates' concerns.

I don't think she was wrongly attacked. People are now starting to get fed up with her constant crying act over everything. She should know that on a show like BB people will argue/not get on all the time. The producers have to choose these characters to make interesting viewing.

Spike 03-07-2008 11:42 PM

No she wasn't
She is crying at the slightest sign of an argument, the woman really needs to grow up
I am getting fed up of it so the housemates must be really annoyed.

Dan_ 04-07-2008 12:04 AM

Perhaps Mario could have been a bit more sensitive than to just shout cry baby at her, but I can understand his and the other housemates frustrations at her crying all the time.Lisa did a good job of trying to talk sense into her.

I kinda feel that Kat's too sensitive for a show like Big Brother. There's always going to be arguments and she cannot even cope with those that don't involve her.

SexualHeroics 04-07-2008 12:21 AM

I am the number 1 Mariomaniac around here and even I say Mario went over the top at Kat. She is a peaceful person and doesn't react well to evil bitches like Bex being so openly horrible in such an enclosed space. Mario should have been more understanding.

I think Lisa was the worst culprit. She spent all night with Jennifreak crying over the painting. Lisa showed disgraceful double standards not being sympathetic to Kat's feelings aswell, and Kat had a very legitimate reason to get emotional in the horrible atmosphere Bex was causing and has been causing all week.

Atleast Mario showed equal standards by calling out Jennifreak for her crying.

Wow, that's actually one thing I'd Mario did good on.

Agree with you on the Lisa's double standards. But it's alright if Jen cries. It's Jen remember???

Yep. It's also Jen who started this hatred towards Kat that Lisa decided to act on.

luckylela 04-07-2008 11:45 AM

mario was nasty to kat get mario out

sexy_leigh 04-07-2008 11:57 AM

mario went overboard if i was in the house i would give him a piece of my mind as it was out of order the way mario just lashed out at her as i didn't see noone shouting at jen when she was crying like a little bitch over her stupid painting!

GiRTh 04-07-2008 02:13 PM

They all seem to have turned on her to the extent that it's kind of united the house. Rebecca seemed to make up with Rex only to turn her hate towards Kat.

I think Kat will get a few nominations this week and may even be up for eviction. I dont think's she'll be evicted but it'll be interesting to see how she reacts.

Arneldo 04-07-2008 02:31 PM

She is just emotional, and I agree she should have expected it - it's obvious she is finding it difficult to live with. Especially because she likes all of the housemates. I think the others are giving her a hard time. she now knows her mistake and is learning from it.

As I said in my first post.
She's a buddhist.
She believes in peace.
She hates conflict/arguments of all sorts.
But shes a grown woman, she has got to deal with things in the real world. If she cant deal with conflict she should go, she knew what she was getting herself in for.
I actually totally agree. If it upsets her that much, she should just leave. It would annoy me if someone constantly cried everytime there was an argument - some people just don't get along, they clash, and you can't force them to like each other. And in such a small environment these situations get magnified by a tenfold.

What I didn't agree with was Mario saying it was pathetic etc when she was in the toilet, and then saying she didn't need to apologise because "that's just who she is". I thought that was really two-faced.

fairymoon 04-07-2008 03:00 PM

shes crys at anything its gertting silly now, she cannot be happy all the time nobody can, what will she cry at next a broke cookie

Yeah, I do to an extent. I mentioned in a different thread that I was disappointed in her because she should be able to cope better. But, I'm not disappointed anymore simply because I really didn't expect her to apologise for it. I thought that showed more strength of character than any other housemate in there has shown - she's actually apologised for the flaws in her own character. Mario has plenty more and is oblivious to them.

I thought Mario was unnecessarily mean, and could have done something like try to explain why he felt the way he did (like Lisa & Rachel) rather than criticising her. It's not like he's perfect himself. As for the others who were criticising her... well, the less said about them the better.
I suppose though we cannot comprehend what it is like to be locked up with so many strangers (at first) for 13 weeks 24/7. If they are arguing all the time and you cannot get away from it, we may all react differently to how we normally would.

Mario should just keep his mouth shut.

yes, she should have expexted it, but it is hard for sumone when they like everyone, basiclly i tink mario n luke are trageting her, because they see her as their biggest treat!

and they are trying to manipulate the HM aswell as the public opinion!!!!!!

Rocko 04-07-2008 03:35 PM

The house would be extremely stupid to put Kat up for nomination as anyone against Kat (bar Darnell maybe) would be evicted.

Unless it's a ploy, e.g. Kat vs Rex...bye Rex.

But Kat Vs the house bitches...that's their own suicide they're going to commit.

BTW, when Bex said "I wanted luke to win. I didn't say I didn't want Kat to win" to which Mario proceeded to add his Marioness to,

Becca's actual words were (or similar). "I think Kat's going to win. I don't want her to win, she doesn't deserve it. I want Luke to win".

kjago 04-07-2008 03:57 PM

sorry no I think something needed to be said - has she not seen past bb's
i should think she probably has because she has nothing better to do all day apart from watch TV. Funny how she can say the word negativity but not house - I am beginning to feel her act is a little bit fake. But then aren't they all.

Manipulate? All because they have gotten fed up of her constant crying etc.

If its that hard for her, she knows where the door is.
