Because the only way to describe his behaviour is that he is playing the game by character assassination. His 'bitching' generally includes inordinate conspiracy theories about the motives of Kat, Rachel, Darnell and Rex. He is so detached from the reality of essentially all of his observations it is incredible.

He gets away with it because he is over the top, quick witted and genuinely funny. If he was sour-faced, petulant and boring with it he'd be detested.

If there is any justice, Luke will win. He is far from perfect, but I disagree with people who think he is a 'gameplayer' if they mean the game to be BB ... he is a 'life gameplayer' .. but not a BB gameplayer. He is intelligent enough to realise the public will see all his bitching and stirring ... but he does it anyway. He is really being himself.

He's so so funny. Did you see him in the diary room talking about his puny body next to Dale and Stuart's? Just one of a million examples which had me literally in hysterics.

I actually think I'd forgive him anything.
