Obviously the Welsh people, don't get me started, don't be an idiot.
whats with the insult! I just cant stand it when welsh people go on about Wales and how good it is, when infact its not really anything special, at all! like when the charlotte church show is on, its a good show but then she constantly goes on about her fav thing being wales!! who cares?? you dont see every English presenter going on about how good england is.
Yes you do, lol.

We don't go on about how great it is.

English people NEVER talk about how great we are and how good the country is, Scotland, Ireland and Wales ALWAYS! do, its sooo annoying, its like thier all trying to prove that their country is better than England when its just not. The whole major pride thing that wales, ireland and scotland all have even effects TV shows, for example Leon, the McDonald brothers, the conway sisters (who were all simply terrible!) its just like get over it! And when I see 3! threads all about wales and welsh people it really pisses me off!

serensilver 17-07-2008 09:09 PM

well dont read them then, maybe we Welsh:banana: and scottish and irish go on about our countries because we are proud of them:thumbs2: if you dont like it dont come in the topic called stereotyping wales! :conf:

Wales a beautiful place all round, its countryside and scenic views are both romanticly tranquil and breathtaking.
I've always had fond memories of St Davids the smallest city in the UK and the furthest western point of Britain.
The countryside around that beautiful city is fabulous and in roughly 50 odd days in some 6 different visits I've never yet experienced a wet day once. I am always impressed by the friendliness of the locals they are a credit to any country Ive ever had the pleasure to visit.
As a child growing up we often took visits to Towyn in North wales, again another supremley brilliant coast line with awsome views and lovely welcoming people never to busy or to snooty when offering an answer on thier homeland they rightlyfully were proud of.

Yes, Wales and the Welsh not always well represented by the media but on the whole its a fantastic country with some of the best and friendliest people in the world living there, I for one love them:hug:

MarkWaldorf 17-07-2008 11:59 PM

Stop trying to start trouble again.
You said what you have to say in the other thread.

Very_Nayce 18-07-2008 01:02 AM

I have news for you mateys. Every nation gets stereotyped. Every nation. Notice how I said 'every'?

Why does Wales need a topic? Im not trying to be rude but the constant, in your face patriotism IS annoying. We get it. Yer welsh. Not english.

*Sigh*

Thank you, thats what ive been saying!

MarkWaldorf 18-07-2008 01:05 AM

Well you like to voice your rather negative opinion a lot.

Very_Nayce 18-07-2008 01:06 AM

I like negative opinions. Better than superhappyfunnybunny time 24/7.

Nurse57 18-07-2008 11:47 AM

"the moment someone non-welsh knows your welsh, they call you a 'sheep shagger' or a farmer. It's like arghh, think of something else to day!"

Well i would call you miners, but Thatcher saw to that.

serensilver 18-07-2008 03:25 PM

take the p*ss:shocked: oohh sorry:bored: but we are not stereotyped are we?

:yuk:

Very_Nayce 18-07-2008 03:29 PM

You might represent your country better if you make slightly more logical posts.

I never said Wales was nto stereotyped. In fact, I said ALL nations are stereotyped. Wales, as you all like to constantly remind us, is a nation.

Correct?

Then what makes Wales exempt from being subject to stereotype? Nothing. Your going to be stereotyped regardless, just like every other naiton.

Now lighten up, noodle miner.

Fom 18-07-2008 03:31 PM

Did you know the Welsh do the same thing about Northerners/Midlands, its like a battle of the UK ha. We had so much fun when my friend moved to Wales, she must of been so fed up of all the "Have you had sex with a sheep yet?"

But it was all in the name of fun, I understand why people get annoyed... Im from Manchester imagine how many shameless comments are made haha. (Although i have been told its in Salford not Manchester, but they are close enough)

serensilver 18-07-2008 03:48 PM

very-nayce i understand about the stereotyping and that you did say about all countries but then you post a youtube clip about wales only!:bored: thats what i was on about!
:conf2:

Very_Nayce 18-07-2008 03:50 PM

Yeah, because this is a topic about Wales, is it not?

Want me to dig up a few comedy routines about Litchenstein or something?

serensilver 18-07-2008 03:53 PM

dont get sarcy with me! I NO it's a topic about wales but a nicer youtube post would've been nice! :spin2:

Oh and whats a noodle minder?

i dont mean to argue i've had a stressful day in work! :flowers:
