Well I voted for Nardia to leave, because of her niccotine addiction.

Mike 23-07-2004 08:51 PM

Whos there to watch now then? Michelle and Stu? no there totally boring.

Hooly One 23-07-2004 08:52 PM

Next week if shell and stu aren't up for eviction, then i'm not voting.

JC 23-07-2004 08:54 PM

The only thing to watch now is Dan slyly making bitchy comments, as he doesn't do this nearly often enough, I can't see how they're gonna make a show out of it!

And as an insomniac I'm doubly annoyed as all of the house except Jay and Vic are in bed by 12!

Mike 23-07-2004 08:54 PM

Its going to be the most boring end to BB ive ever seen

Your actually wrong Michelle, Stu and Shell definately can be.

Red Moon 23-07-2004 09:11 PM

Could I say... we are the public ! ! !

JC 23-07-2004 09:12 PM

We're individual people. Individuals are ok, the public as a whole are dumb

BB should take away the public vote next year, they clearly don't know how to use it wisely.

AndyJK 23-07-2004 09:57 PM

Another factor is the liberal, politically correct society we've become. The viewers see a girl upset caused by a man's actions, immediately think the worst and take the girl's side believing she's been "victimised" and "harassed".

Slartibartfast 23-07-2004 09:58 PM

Excellent idea, no publc vote next year. People simply don't know how to use the power bestowed upon them by the right to vote.

And while we're at it, for the next parliamentary elections, only a few hand choosen people (picked by me of course) should be able to vote. Going by BB ths year, and some opinions on various websites, if the public are able to vote, we'll be looking at the BNP and the Green Party running the country.

Thats the main problem with democracy: Every idiot gets a vote.

:shocked::spin::shocked::spin::joker:

AndyJK 23-07-2004 10:06 PM

Well taking the vote away makes sense to me. Time and time again the public decides on the niceness of housemates instead of their entertainment value. That's partly why BB 4 was a disaster, and a great example would be the introduction of Lisa. She was the only interesting housemate the rest were all hopelessly dull, and in her first week facing evection, the public convincly voted her out and booed her as she left!

It's pathetic. I say this now to all the people who voted for Victor tonight: You are all stupid and don't deserve the vote.

/me is in a bad tonight

rachb 23-07-2004 10:18 PM

I've tried my best this year to vote to keep the entertaining ones in.Even if I haven't liked them.

Same here Rach I've bitten my tounge on a number of occasions just to make sure that I keep the entertaining housemates in!

radiorabies 23-07-2004 11:07 PM

I reckon that Big Brother started to suck in BB2 'cos little girls fancied Paul. I mean, they kept him in for no end of weeks over people with actual characters: Narinda and Bubble. After they had gone it became lame with Dean strumming his guitar and Elizabeth being boring. I get fed up with the Helen quote "I like blinking, I do".... It's always out of context. She said it as a funny comment on why she was no good at stare fights... I'm not denying she was stupid, but that was actually one of the intelligent comments she made...

I think out of all of them that have gone so far he will be missed most of all.
The only good thing is he'll be on bblb next week so that will be brilliant:thumbs:
As was the case rachb, but the ironic thing is that Shell overeacted to nothing while Victor restrained himself in order to pass the task during Shell's outburst, yet the public blame him! :bored:

It wouldn't surprise me either.

Shell definitely doesn't deserve to win as she's been too quiet and her behaviour on the rare occasion has been bizarre. I remember the time she went scrazy not having any ciggies sometime in the first two weeks.

Amy 23-07-2004 11:27 PM

If Shell won it we would be reliving BB4 all over again!I can't see Shell winning BB!

I do hope BB doesn't spend anymore time than is necessary on Michelle and Stu. Hopefully Jason will spice things up a bit, but then by doing so he risks being voted out by the public. It's a no win situation really. I suspect he'll have a better chance of avoiding eviction if he just sits says nothing and folds his arms until next Friday. That way the public will warm to him. I know, it makes no sense to me either. :bored:

As I have absolutely lost faith with the public and how they vote, I really don't what to think anymore Amy. It would be terrible if Shell won I agree, as she's been the least interesting of this series housemates.

Nothing in general, I'm a nice guy. Niceness is a quality I look for when picking friends, but when it comes to a show involving people trapped in a house together, I'd rather see a range of emotions than everyone playing happy families and getting along.
I concur. I watch BB for all the nasty reasons (arguing, tantrums, moaning and that kind of thing) Nice people just aren't interesting enough, and when I define nice I mean those that are always polite, kind, considerate soft touches. BB 4 was ultra nice and it was terrible, really awful to watch.
