What about the 5-18 year gaps? Fine? Skank? Does it actually matter at all providing both are happy with it?
I just think its pervy when someone is 19 and going out with a 40yr old.
What's perverted about it if both fancy each other and both are comfortable with it? I don't see anything remotely perverted with that.
Its weird and its not practical. Both are at different places in life and the 40 year old is old enough to be the 19 year olds parent. Its just wrong on so many levels.
"weird"? How so?
To people with a narrow mind it's wrong on so many levels.
And who says both are at different places in their lives? Does that not entirely depend on the people involved?

I wouldn't do it myself but I can see where he's coming from. It'd feel like you're dating your parent or something.
I wouldn't do it myself either, cause I couldn't name a 40 year old who I fancy, nor anybody over 30 really, but who are we to judge anybody else for fancying and 'falling in love' with somebody older than themselves? Like people have said, it's a number, nothing to get too hung up on, nothing to even concern yourself over as if the couple are happy, surely that's all that matters?
And to you it may seem like you are dating your parent, but that's you, others who are slightly more broadminded would look at it completely different, and plus, if they are in love, age means **** all.
This is not me preeching from personal experience cause I really don't know what love is at all, never been in love, but I know that if 2 people are happy, regardless of their age, so what? We are living in the 21st century, it really is nobody else other than the couple's business, and if they are happy, surely that's what matters at the end of the day? Or should they be begrudged happiness because of a number?
