I always talk to my cat... she listens as well! I love my cat for the sheer fact she wont answer back and she will just listen for hours on end and just stare back :)
Shame she is so old and hasn't got long left, I love her so much.

i have conversations with my dog. and i go "aww youre just the cutest thing!" to my rat

The thing is though, if you say something nasty in a happy tone of voice, he still wags his tail! But yeah I don't like have full on interlectual conversations with my dog. :D

I'm sure my dog tried to talk back to me
When I ask him if he is ok, he does a little moan which means yes lol
Its weird but I think we do communicate
