If your going blonde then you'll have to bleach your hair before you apply the dye or else it'll look orange.

hannah you said you were just going to buy a box though. Buying a blonde hair dye from a box and then expecting it to work over your dark hair will look really bad and it will dry your hair out completely.

You need to get a pro dye from sallys or something.
