people will may do the same gendre of music which a lot of people do, but that doesnt make them unoriginal, because they may like the same type of music but they make their own

there not recording artist, ther x-factor finalist so theyl be singin songs from other artist!
But he didn't make anything his own, he didn't put anything but his voice in to the songs. He just copied stuff people did.

He deserved to go... he was rubbish last week.

bore some may think, but that doesnt make her a bad person nor makes her a cr*p singer.
I didn't say she was a bad singer, just that she is boring. She has a very good voice when she sings but on the personality stakes she scores a big fat zero.
i didnt say you said shes a bad singer!

i just said what you said about her doesnt make her a bad singer
and on the personality stakes shes a bright angel!

She hardly ever speaks and when she does you can hardly hear her.

For such a good singer she lacks so much self confidence. She would never have made it without the X-Factor because she spent most of the time on the show not believing in herself. And to be honest that hasn't changed.

As for Rachel she is the complete opposite so over confident and gobby she doesn't know how to shut up and listen.

Benjamin 04-11-2008 07:54 PM

Can Rachel not face the fact that she is not as popular as she thought? Everyone else is challenged for the song choices (the whole point of the show).

If she cannot handle it, then maybe she should quit. How can she blame Dannii?

AND!!!! Dannii even let Rachel choose her own song in week 2, and Rachel still sucked at that!

GET RACEL OUT!!!!

The Story has made the national press now:

Quote:

X Factor's Rachel Hylton SACKS mentor Dannii Minogue
They've been at loggerheads for weeks, but Rachel Hylton has finally had enough – and fired mentor Dannii Minogue.

The furious 26-year-old got so fed-up with her X Factor adviser’s choice of songs she axed her and is now going it alone for this weekend’s show by picking her own tracks and style.

Former crack addict Rachel flew off the handle at a crisis meeting after Saturday’s slot – when she nearly got the chop – and told Dannii she was out.

A source said: “There have been some differences of opinion between acts and judges before, but not to this level.

“There is total breakdown in communication between the two girls with Rachel ultimately feeling Dannii is failing her.

“She is desperate to win the competition but she feels she has no chance if Dannii keeps giving her the wrong tracks to perform.

“It has been bubbling under for weeks, ever since Dannii gave her the Robyn track Every Heartbeat to sing which really didn’t complement her amazing voice.

“But it was the final straw when she ended up in the bottom two. She demanded Dannii had to go.”

It is the first time in X Factor history a finalist will be allowed to compete without aid from a judge.

Dannii admits she has struggled to build a working relationship with the mum-of-five.

Rachel’s feisty nature has often resulted in the pair having explosive backstage rows at rehearsals about how the performance should go.

But the main sticking point has always been the choice of songs.

Dannii said: “Being a mentor to Rachel was incredibly hard. “I’ve always seen her as a soul singer, but she wanted to be a rock star, and as a result we’ve often disagreed.”

She made the situation worse by writing off Rachel’s chances of winning. Dannii riled her by suggesting one of Cheryl Cole’s female acts in the 25 and under category would scoop the big prize. Last week Simon Cowell, 49, had to intervene after Rachel made a complaint about Dannii.

The judge acted as a mediator between the bickering pair to try to ease the tension.

All three were involved in selecting a track that they were happy with.

But it still didn’t stop Rachel coming in the bottom two in the public phone vote.

A source added: “Simon rapped Dannii for wasting Rachel’s talents with awful songs.

“He has a soft spot for Rachel and wants to see her full potential.

“He does realise she can be a handful and that Dannii has a difficult time trying to handle that.

“The way Dannii has dealt with Rachel has really put her mentoring skills under the spotlight.

“It’s not only Rachel who will be feeling the pressure this week, Dannii will be too.”

A spokesman for the show last night refused to comment.

rachel believes her own hype far too much she really does think she is amazing and that everyone should agree with her i dont think she is that good at all and she should have gone from that sing off
if she cant take how the show is (which she knew when she went for auditions) then maybe she should just leave

Benjamin 05-11-2008 08:42 AM

I HATE Rahel even more now. I hope she goes this week. She acts like she is something special, but she isn't.

Even when she got to choose her own song she was still crap at singing it (week 2). You didn't see Ruth or Daniel stomp around like a 5 year old because they were in the bottom 2.

Wildcat! 05-11-2008 08:54 AM

Oh dear god Rachel!

robb 05-11-2008 11:29 AM

Red Moon...........I presume that you would have preferred Mr. Personality Ray Quinn to win, rather than Leona. I want to see a great singer sing, not prattle........

The rachel/dannii 'split' hasn't happened....see thread from DS source on her. I have to say, tho, that apart from week3, rachel has under-performed.

TwinklesB12 05-11-2008 12:10 PM

Boot out Rachel-I don't like her she has a bad attitude and I think Austin has a better voice!I can't deal with the drama all the time-wish she would grow up!

Don't think so, Ray wasn't my cup of tea. I liked Ben Mills that year.

M X 05-11-2008 12:46 PM

this might be false, who knows?

XxShortyxX 05-11-2008 01:11 PM

I just read that Dannii and Rachel are still working together and notihng has happend between then, so as always, the papers are lieing again.

Wildcat! 05-11-2008 01:16 PM

Apparently,its not true!
Sorry Rachel!

robb 05-11-2008 01:17 PM

Yeah.........they have had difficulties, but have NOT split.........one or 2 newspaper stories DO have sources, however. To be fair to dannii, rachel did perform well in week 3, but I wasn't 'blown away' by her Mary J Blige song on saturday. And that was HER choice.

Dan_ 05-11-2008 02:24 PM

I reckon she's going to land up in the bottom two again this Saturday.

Loukas 06-11-2008 12:47 PM

But theres a new twist in the story

[quote]Rachel: 'I am still in Team Minogue'

Rachel Hylton has denied rumours that she has split from her mentor Dannii Minogue.

Tabloid reports claimed the 26-year-old fell out with Minogue after she was voted into the bottom two on last week's show.

In a statement, Hylton admitted she wanted "more control" over her performances, but insisted she is still working with the judge.

"Dannii and I talked yesterday and I don't have anything against Dannii at all and she is still very much my mentor," she said.

"I respect her opinions, all I want is a little more control over my performance and styling, which she is allowing me to have. But I am a fully fledged member of Team Minogue."

Minogue commented: "Rachel and I have not fallen out and there has never been any discussions that she wishes to leave Team Minogue.

"I have, as always, spent lots of one-on-one time with Rachel this week and have even organised a personal shopping trip so she feels more confident about her look."

An X Factor spokesperson added: "Being in the bottom two last week knocked Rachel's confidence and the pair have agreed that Rachel will have more ownership over her song choice and styling of the performance this weekend. But she is still very much part of Team Minogue."
