Yeah, I learnt all about it last year as it was the prime example used in our Religon book of Sectarianism.
We are the best sectarian country! :thumbs: ..... God I hate Northern Ireland...

I dunno but it may be because Guy Fawkes was a Catholic wasn't he, and he was againt the COE/Protestant thing, so because its really the celebration of Guy Fawkes death, it became and Irish tradition not to celebrate?

A celebration that king Billy beat King James in 1690..
Nowadays its really about protestants marching though Catholic areas to piss us off... but thats a different story.. LOL

Just got back from the fireworks. They had even more this year, they had big search lights on the clouds and fire thingies that exploded during the new bond song and fireworks. It was as amazing as ever !
