Think the School was the first place i went after i came out the Vault

I didn't go there for ages did loads of side quests nearby then went up north to explore then saw the super mutants and ran back down south to Megaton

lmao I haven't been north yet, just got to the rich guy's massive hotel/tower thing.

btw, don't go to the North East corner of the map until you're a high level xD There's a certain town with certain creatures that will cause certain death xD

I killed my first two mutants today... I've also encountered a couple of feral ghouls at the train station. Neither of them were as bitchy as the ****ing radscorpions though.

On the plus side I conquered a fort :love: oh and I found a shop which threw a fire extinguisher at me :bawling: -chooses to believe it's haunted, not booby-trapped-

Vault 87 is a place with just Super Mutants inside. And its dark. It scared the shizz outta me. :bawling:

some of these people are ridiculous <_< i just stumbled on an unmarked building with loads of loot inside, and these 3 Talon Company blokes - I must have shot one of them in the (unprotected) head 5 times with little impact on his health :bored: so i got impatient and took them out with a missile.

Haha :D I find the best weapons to take out people in game are things like the shotgun - as long as you are up close

You rocking conventional weapons or energy weapons?

It takes awhile before an energy weapon skill really pays off. It seems pointless at first because barely anyone has them and you constantly need to buy new cells but things change when you level higher.

I've only just found a laser rifle and I've found that very useful... just took out 5 or so raiders outside the Red Racing Company HQ. The laser pistol is **** though. I usually rely on the good old 10mm or the combat shotgun.

Tesla canon > all. Plasma rifles are awesome too. :amazed:

:bawling: I just stumbled upon some camp with 4 raiders with flamers, and had just about finished them off when a Yao Guai appeared from nowhere.

I've no idea :laugh: I'm not bothering with the missions atm, just exploring.

The main story is shockingly short, so I'd save that til later, though if you want, there's a DLC called Broken Steel that lets you continue playing after you finish. But it's best just avoiding the main mission for a bit :p
