Seeing this tomorrow!

It has a 7.2 rating on IMDb, meaning that it's almost certainly a great film. - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0822832/

I just read the spoiler on the first page so I probably won't end up watching it for a while now, though.

MarkWaldorf 14-03-2009 11:45 AM

IMDB ratings are weird. HSM3 has such a low one! lmao.

MarkWaldorf 14-03-2009 07:23 PM

I almost bawled. The film was pretty good, but the ending was just terribly sad.

I love animals, so that probably made it worse but they take you throughout Marley's life, so you feel like you actually know him which makes it so much worse.

[spoil]I hated the scene where they put him down. John saying goodbye was so sad and I wanted it to end to not make me cry - I thankfully just teared up.[/spoil]

It made me think of my cat (LOL, who I loveee) and that even though they can pee you off, it's still your lil friend and I'd hate for him to leave me.

Callum 14-03-2009 07:33 PM

I'm going to see it tomorrow. :dance2:

MarkWaldorf 14-03-2009 07:37 PM

Be prepared Callum.

Princess 14-03-2009 08:33 PM

Dunno when I'm going to see this but I'm sorta dreading it,lol. I cried at fecking HSM3! So a movie which everyone is crying at I'm going to be in floods!

MarkWaldorf 14-03-2009 08:34 PM

Laura seriously, it's a tear fest. Everyone in the cinema was crying or sniffing.

Princess 14-03-2009 08:36 PM

Oh god,ok bringing loads of Kleenex :P I was a REPEAT of Kilimanjaro today and I cried again, hah!

Wanted to go today actually but got work to do *which I should be doing now..*

MarkWaldorf 14-03-2009 08:38 PM

It's actually fine until the last fifteen minutes or so when you can tell the dog is getting old and the kids start to notice.

Lmao, you're so weird.

MarkWaldorf 14-03-2009 08:40 PM

Shup and talk about Marley

Hugo 14-03-2009 09:02 PM

Aw Mark  LOL
I wanna see it but this review I read said it was boring

MarkWaldorf 14-03-2009 09:03 PM

It does kinda drag. Especially towards the end, there were so many times it could have ended perfectly but it just kept going. I'd reccomend it though, it's both funny and sad.

Glenn. 15-03-2009 06:20 PM

This is the most saddest film I've ever seen:sad:
Everyone in the cinema was crying including me.
I can relate to the story, because I had to put my lab down, and that makes it all the more heartbreaking

MarkWaldorf 15-03-2009 06:21 PM

I know right. I'm still upset right now.

Me too:sad: I watched it over five hours ago, and it still feels raw:bawling:

*mazedsalv** 15-03-2009 07:27 PM

My sister watched it last night and she said it was really bad (and she loves these types of movies) she said that it gragged on so much. My friend watched it too and had the same to say about it.

Mhm. I keep thinking about the ending and how it happened.

Callum 15-03-2009 10:18 PM

I never cry at films but this really made me cry. I still feel upset now. The ending was just so sad.
