To be honest, I wouldn't want to be with a girl who expects presents like flowers or a meal on an anniversary, most of my presents at chirstmas are hand made and I only make a few of them for close family. I don't like the idea of giving presents, if its an anniversary you are celebrating love, so spending time on a present for someone you care about means more than buying something expensive.

Girls that only want expensive bought things, well they are not my type.

Yeah - this is why the better option is to go for something simple where you can spend time with them as well. I.e. cinema, or just walking somewhere, or a picnic or something.

Don't buy anything expensive, or a pricey meal or anything material.

i agree keep it simple not all girls like tons of expensive gifts save those for birthdays and the like i dont know where you are in the country but even a picnic (prepare it together) on the beach or somewhere just as lovely will be just as good if not miles better than a restaurant or whatever might as well make good memories in the process of celebrating it

Picnic with her favourite foods? But only if it's a nice day, haha.

pinkmichk 08-04-2009 05:20 PM

and if its raining have a indoor picnic with the blanket spread over the floor

Iceman 08-04-2009 05:20 PM

Well the weather here is great at the moment so i may keep that in mind for sunday if my cooking fails!

Night in.

Buy a dvd to watch that she would like.
Cook somthing yourself. & get Wine or Champagne or somthing.
And a Card Write in it how you feel about her let her read it whilst with you.

Am sure she will like it, simple and romantic.

Have fun with what ever you end up doing.

Yeah, thats a good idea, if you know all her fave foods you could put them in a picnic basket I am sure she will be impressed you take note of her when she talks lol. On paper I would make a good BF, but I am awful at relationships haha.

I have some ideas I just probably can't post them on a forum where a lot of kids visit :joker:
