Highlights Show #1 The Housemates have all entered, and Big Brother has just revealed the store room, with their suitcases, to be open. Jen: That was quick! WATERS: Race to the bedrooms! The Housemates squeal and rush to get a decent bed, including the silent Housemates. AMA: Ah, not so hesitant any more I see! Ross, Linda, Shaun, Jen and Hannah rush off to the first bedroom, and manage to seize beds early. AMA, WATERS, Annie, Lauren, Rémy and Laura [S] head off the other way. Ross: There's two more beds in here, I guess that's for you two silent people then... Conor and Laura [P] put their bags down and quickly walk out into the garden. They find a corner and sit down. Laura [P]: This is so difficult, I already feel victimised. Conor: I know, same here. That Paul and Hannah seem to have clicked onto us, but I'm gonna stay strong. The other Laura walks out of the garden bedroom, and rushes over to them. Laura [S]: I was so stupid to rush off with them, I thought you were following! Conor: Sorry babe. Laura [P]: Do you think if we lose the task, it'll just be us 3 up for eviction? Laura [S]: I guess we could ask Big Brother. Is the Diary Room open now? Conor: Let's just be careful in case. What do you make of them by the way? Laura [S]: That Rémy is a bit of alright! And Ross too! But the others seem nice... Laura [P]: Yeah, I don't see anyone who looks like they'll be a total ass. Conor: Really? I'm not getting good vibes off Annie. Laura [P]: Ooh, why? Conor: I dunno, it seems like...we'll have to wait on her hand and foot because she's pregnant and everything. Laura [S]: Oh god yeah. Laura [P]: I'm sure she can manage by herself, I'm not being a slave. The scene changes. 11:12pm. Ross, Linda, Shaun and Hannah are in the kitchen. Linda: Are you going to put some clothes on soon? Ross: Yeah, sorry, what's wrong? Shaun: We're just worried for your safety. Did you see Lauren eying you up? Hannah: Oh my God yes! I wasn't going to say... Ross blushes Linda: Ah, the Daily Star will love this. Shaun: Anyone want a drink? Hannah and Linda oblige, and Lauren shouts yes from the living room. She walks over. Hannah: So yeah, the war in Afghanistan. Lauren: What about it? Shaun smirks as he pours Lauren a drink and hands it to her. Linda: We were just talking about it. Ross: Where's Afghanistan? Isn't it near Zimbabwe? Shaun laughs and Linda puts a hand on Ross' shoulder Linda: Quote of the series already. Lauren: Heh... Lauren walks off to the group in the Living Room. Hannah: She so knew we were talking about her. Shaun: Ssssh! The commentator, voiced by Sia, interrupts. 11:46pm. Ama, Waters, Rémy, Annie, Greg, Linda, Shaun and Jen are in the living room. The two Lauras have gone to bed, and Conor is in the Diary Room. Conor: Big Brother I hate you! This task is so mean! The Housemates keep making snide little comments about us and it's not fair...god! Big Brother: Conor, Big Brother reminds you that it'll be worth it in the end. Conor: Yeah I know, but I don't think it's worth risking potential friendships in the House really... 'cos Paul's already made silly digs at us about being **** and wastes of time. Big Brother: Big Brother suggests you hold your tongue. Conor: Very funny! The camera cuts to the living room conversation. Greg: Who's in the Diary Room? Rémy: I think it was the silent boy... Jen: Yeah, it's him. WATERS: Probably being fed secrets about us. AMA: Do you think? Maybe those 3 know each other already. Shaun: But they split up in the bedrooms... Annie: Yeah. Jen: I think Big Brother's told them to be silent. Linda: I think it's to wind us up, personally. Just for entertainment or something. WATERS: Yeah you're probably right. Greg: Do you reckon only they'll nominate? Annie: Oh my god, I didn't think about that... AMA: We'd feel so bad if it was revealed they were actually mute. Shaun: Hmm, but they don't pay us attention either. They look away and all that. Rémy: Maybe they are like Helen Keller? The group laughs Jen: Who's Helen Keller? 12:04am. Hannah, Ross and Lauren are talking in the garden, whilst smoking. Ross has put on a hoodie and some shorts. Hannah: So what do you think of the Housemates? Lauren: They seem alright...I'm certain Shaun and Linda were talking about me though. Ross: What, why? Lauren: You were there. He asked me if I wanted a drink and I came over, and you were pretending to talk about the war in Afghanistan. Ross: No, we were! Lauren: You didn't even know where Afghanistan was! Ross: I still know there's a war there, and about the Taliban, and Bin Laden... Hannah: Yeah we didn't say anything about you any more than the others. I was saying to Linda how there doesn't seem to be a group 'asshole', or anything. Lauren: Hmm... Hannah: What, you think there is? Lauren: No, not yet. But I've got my eye on some people. Ross: Who? Lauren: Well Shaun and Linda obviously, the three quiet ones as well...and Paul seems a bit up himself. Ross: Oh I thought that too. Hannah: Yeah, he's a bit like...smug. I reckon he thinks he's better than us. Ross: Yeah, definitely. Jen walks outside and lights up, sitting with them. Jen: Who we talking about then? Ross: Paul. Jen: Oh, he's a babe! Lauren: Yeah... She looks at her nails and Jen fails to notice the sarcasm. 1:35am. The two Lauras, Conor, Annie, Ama, Linda and Hannah are asleep. Rémy, Greg, Shaun, Lauren, Ross and Jen are in the garden. Some are a little tipsy. Shaun: Ssssh, we'll wake them! Jen: Last one in the pool is a rotten potato! Ross: Potato? He's pushed out of the way as Greg and Lauren jump in the pool. Rémy: The microphones! Lauren: Oh ****! Big Brother: This is Big Brother, can Lauren and Greg come to the Diary Room immediately. Shaun: It's been nice knowing you... The others in the garden continue to roll around laughing, as the scene cuts to the two in the Diary Room. Greg: Hello Big Brother... Big Brother: Lauren and Greg - do you know why you've been called to the Diary Room? Lauren: I think so... Big Brother: The equipment that you are wearing, the microphone and battery charger, is very important and expensive. Jumping in the pool with it on, ruins it. As punishment for this vandalism, Big Brother will be giving you punishments tomorrow. Greg: Oh snap... There is a moment of silence, and the credits roll. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Highlights Show #2 It is 10:00am exactly, and this year, Big Brother is going to carry on the tradition of waking Housemates with an irritating sound. This time around, it is a clip of Conor singing 'Hallelujah'. He sits bolt upright and blushes, and rushes off to the bathroom to spare his embarrassment. Rémy: Ugh, what is this awful noise? Lauren: Someone can't sing! The Housemates eventually all wake up, and prepare themselves for the day ahead. Ama, Paul and Annie are in the Garden bedroom's bathroom. WATERS: Do you need a hand? Annie: No thanks, I'm fine. Thank you though. AMA: Good morning? Annie: Yeah...this is the first day in a long time I haven't woken up and felt sick. I thought I'd be grossing you all out. AMA: You're 5 months gone aren't you? Annie: Yeah. I doubt I'll make it far enough to actually give birth in the House, really. WATERS: Would pretty awesome though. Annie: I doubt any viewers will want to see my embryonic fluids. Ama splutters and spits his mouthwash out. 10:39am. Greg is in the kitchen cooking some toast for himself, Lauren and Ross. Annie is eating a bowl of cereal at the dining table, whilst talking to Hannah and Rémy, who are eating fruit. Laura [S] and Conor are in the smoking area. Laura [S]: When will our 24 hours run out? Conor: Uh...we entered at about 9pm, so I reckon 10pm tonight to be safe. The actual time their task started, when Rémy entered the House, was 9:34pm. Laura [S]: Oh not too long then, about 12 hours. Conor: Yeah...we just need to keep out of their way today and we're sorted. Paul walks out of the garden-room and walks over to them. WATERS: Ready to talk yet? The pair sit silently, picking at grass on the floor. WATERS: I guess not... He gets up and walks into the main part of the House. Conor: Ugh, I cannot stand him. Laura [S]: Tell me about it. Did you see him touching my leg last night? Conor: Oh my god, really? The camera cuts to the group inside. Rémy: I think they are talking! Lauren: Really? She and Shaun rush to the glass panels, where Conor and Laura immediately hush up. Annie: We've just caught them out then, surely? Laura [P] walks out of the main bedroom and pours herself a drink, before heading outside. Shaun: Can you imagine if they were just this unbelievably rude? 1:56pm. The Housemates are gathered on the sofa, receiving information about their first shopping task. Over the next 2 days they are to maintain the BB10 Diner. A 50s' style décor has been plastered throughout the House, and Housemates have been given waitress/waiter costumes to wear for the entire task. A small roller-skating ring has been constructed in the garden, and every time "The Fast Food Song" by the Fast-Food-Rockers plays, 3 specific Housemates have to rush there in a minute and skate around for the rest of the song. The 3 who've chosen this role are Hannah, Lauren and Paul. 2 Housemates have been given the menial task of potato peeling. They must peel 500 potatoes using only one potato peeler between them, in the task room. They have 12 hours to do it from when the klaxon rings. The two Lauras have volunteered (through putting up their hands) for this. A tube full of muck and dirty water has been positioned over a specially-built "diner floor" area in the main bathroom, and every time dirty water pours from the ceiling, 1 Housemate has to clean it up within 5 minutes. A small bell rings every time this happens. Greg has been given this role. 4 Housemates will be tested on their waiter-memory skills. They will be given a series of customer orders in the Diary Room, increasing in complexity as time goes on, by Big Brother. The 4 who've volunteered for this are Shaun, Conor, Linda and Annie. The final 4 Housemates, Ross, Rémy, Jen and Ama, have been given the Jukebox task. A jukebox has been installed in the living room, and the 4 Housemates have been given small portable DVD players, with instructional videos on how to do certain dances. The hand-jive, the twist-and-shout and many others are included, set to well-known 50s/60s songs. Every time the jukebox plays one of these songs, they must rush there and perform the dance, sometimes in pairs. Big Brother: The jukebox and waiter-memory tasks will begin tomorrow. WATERS: Easy peasy! AMA: Hmm...I wish I'd asked for something before being left with dancing. Shaun: I'm sure you have your moves. Annie: Oh I'm sure of that too... 3:09pm. Hannah is in the garden smoking on her own. She examines her nails and is relaxed, when "The Fast Food Song" begins playing. She rushes to put on her rolling skates, and Lauren and Paul run out of the house and join her. WATERS: Skate, babies, skate! Lauren: Wooooo! Hannah: I only learned to skate when I was 16... Lauren: Wooooo! WATERS: How long does this go on for? Other Housemates watch and cheer. Linda: Work it, Paul! Ross: Aaaah watch out! Lauren and Hannah skate into each other, before Paul separates them and they skate arm-in-arm. 5:06pm. Conor and Laura [P] are in the Diary Room. Conor: Big Brother... Laura [P]: When does the task end? Big Brother: Big Brother will inform you when the task ends, Housemates. Laura [P]: Ugh. I just want to talk! I heard Hannah mention Take That earlier and I bit my tongue. But she was praising them so it's okay. Conor: Ooh are you a fan? 'Cos IIIIIIIIIIIIIII-! Princess silences his attempts at singing 'Patience'. 7:32pm. Ross, Greg and Jen are in a heated seating area of the garden. They are talking about the task and the House. Greg: This task will be fun. Jen: You've got the worst part, that floor will be disgusting! Ross: I can't wait to strut my stuff. Jen: I know, right? Linda comes and joins them. Linda: Hey hoes. Ross: Who you calling a hoe? Greg: Linda, didn't you say you're from Scotland? Linda: Ye ken, aye? Greg: Cool! I'm from Aberdeen. Ross: Wales is better. Jen: No! Northern Ireland. Linda: Ah, we've got our very own little United Kingdom. Ross: Ugh, if Hannah talks about how she loves skating one more time, I'm wrapping those skates around her neck. Linda: She does go on a bit. Jen: Aw, she's lovely though. Ross: She's harmless enough, I guess. 8:04pm. Paul and Lauren are in the main bathroom, Lauren is showering. A bell rings and a torrain of dirty water falls from the ceiling. Paul screams in shock and turns red. Lauren: Something startle you, sweetie? GREG! QUICK! Greg: Way ahead of you! He grabs a mop and starts mopping. Paul leaves out of embarrassment. 8:19pm. Shaun is in the Diary Room. Big Brother: How are you finding your other Housemates, Shaun? Shaun: Uh...some of them are hilarious. Like Hannah, Linda and Ross... but some of them seem a bit careful about what they're saying? Big Brother: Like who, Shaun? Shaun: Uh...Jen's a bit hesitant sometimes. And Rémy must be having a bit of a culture shock - us Brits aren't the most graceful of people, just look at Conor picking his belly button. Jeeez. What's up with them by the way? Big Brother: Who, Shaun? Shaun: The mutes. Big Brother: Big Brother does not know what you're talking about, Shaun. Shaun: Hmm...kay. 9:33pm. The Housemates are dispersed around the House. Big Brother: This is Big Brother. Could all Housemates gather immediately. Annie: Oooh, what's happening! They all rush to take seats. They hush each other, and the two Lauras smile at each other. Big Brother: Housemates, you may have noticed that a few of your co-habitants have been less than talkative. They look at the 3 mutes with puzzlement. Big Brother: Could Conor please come to the Diary Room. He runs silently to the door and enters. He appears on the plasma screen. Big Brother: Conor, you may speak now. Conor: Oh thank God! AMA: Camp much? Jen: Shush! Big Brother: Conor, last night, you, Laura and Laura were the first Housemates to enter the House. You were given the chance to gain immunity from this week's eviction if you remained silent and uncooperative with the rest of the House for 24 hours. Your time is now over. Conor: Did we pass? Oh my god. Big Brother: Conor, earlier, at 10:40am, you were in the garden talking to Laura. Rémy said "I think they are talking!" Conor: Oh no! Big Brother: However, Rémy did not hear what you said. Big Brother is glad to reveal that no other Housemate has shown a sign of hearing you talk. Therefore you have passed your secret mission, and are immune from this week's eviction. Conor: YES! Laura [S]: Thank **** for that! Laura [P]: Wooooo! The other Housemates applaud and laugh. The two Lauras introduce themselves to the other Housemates. Big Brother: There is more. They immediately hush. Big Brother: In addition to your immunity, only you, Laura and Laura will be nominating this week. Conor: Shut up! Big Brother: You may now leave the Diary Room. He does, and enters the House. Hannah and Laura [P] run up to him and they hug. Paul turns to Ama quietly. WATERS: Time to start brown-nosing I guess. AMA: You read my mind. 11:20pm. Conor, Laura [S], Paul, Linda and Greg are in the living area. Laura [P], Shaun and Lauren are outside in the garden. Annie, Ama, Ross, Rémy, Jen and Hannah are asleep. Conor: It feels so strange being able to talk now. Normally I can't stop. Laura [S]: We noticed! WATERS: Sorry I touched you last night, by the way. Laura [S]: Huh? WATERS: When I entered and you were silent... Conor: Yeah that was a bit creepy. Linda: Paul has a way with the ladies... Laura [S]: Nah, a One Way ticket away from me please. WATERS: That'll all change soon. Conor: Ugh just stop it. WATERS: What? Conor: Being so slimy. Linda: He's only joking, Conor. Conor: Yeah but she's clearly not interested. Greg: Who wants some tea? He walks to the kitchen with Laura and Conor following. Conor: Sorry, he's just being a total creep. Greg: I know, I know. Laura [S]: He's weird... The credits roll... |

Highlights Show #3 - Monday (Sunday's events) Day 3 - 10:23am. The Housemates have just been woken up by the sound of Beethoven's "9th Symphony". Big Brother calls Greg and Lauren to the Diary Room. Greg: Morning... Lauren: Do you think they'll put us up for eviction? Greg: I dunno. That'd be harsh... Big Brother: Greg and Lauren, do you know why you are here? Greg: Yeah... Big Brother: Big Brother does not appreciate his equipment being damaged by his Housemates. Through the door to your right, there is a Punishment Room. You will spend today in the Punishment Room. Big Brother will give you further instructions once you walk into the room, on the plasma screen. Lauren: Oh my God... 10:42am. The majority of other Housemates are awake and eating breakfast. Rémy, Hannah and Annie are sat on the sofas eating cereal. Hannah: Hey guys! Have Lauren and Greg come back yet? Rémy: Do you think they've been removed? Annie: Surely not, they only broke a microphone. Hannah: Maybe they're being tortured or something! Rémy: How? Hannah: I dunno...loud music, something like that. Jen: Maybe they're being forced to nominate someone. AMA: Nah that'd be a reward, less chance of them being evicted. Jen: Yeah I guess... 11:21am. Greg and Lauren have been in the Punishment Room for half an hour, and are sat on stiff, wooden chairs. A giant screen has been playing the Crazy Frog non-stop ever since they entered. Instructions have told them they must strap themselves to the chairs and watch without their eyes closed. Greg: This is torture! Lauren: A buh-ding-ding-ding.... Greg: No Lauren! Stay strong! 11:56am. Linda has come to the Diary Room. Linda: Hey Bee-Bee. Big Brother: Hello Linda, how are you today? Linda: Uhh...not so bad actually. I just wanted to come and talk about the House, really. Big Brother: What do you want to say, Linda? Linda: Well I'm worried about being nominated really. I think that Paul's a dead-cert to be up with Conor and orange Laura...but I'm worried about the others. I don't think anyone's been evil enough to be up yet. Big Brother: Linda, what do you make of your other Housemates? Linda: Well I think Shaun, Ross and Jen are hilarious. Ama and Rémy seem like very cool guys as well. I haven't made my mind up about the others, really. Watch this space... 12:45pm. Rémy, Laura [P], Ama, Paul and Hannah are in the garden. The task is ongoing, and as Lauren and Greg are being punished, their parts of the task will go ignored for today. Hannah and Paul have been skating for 10 minutes. AMA: Don't your legs hurt yet? WATERS: Yes! Big Brother stop! Hannah: Don't show your weakness, he'll keep it on for longer! The music stops and they breathe a sigh of relief. Hannah: Ugh! I hate skating! Laura [P]: Hopefully that'll be it for a while. Rémy: When are the memory tasks? WATERS: Today I think. The group are interrupted by the opening chords of Elvis Presley's "A Little Less Conversation". Ross and Jen run out of the bedroom wearing their diner outfits, and Rémy rushes to put his on. Ama begins to hand-jive, as per instructed by the DVD. AMA: One two three four, five six seven eight! One two three.. Ross: Oh if we win this we're definitely getting some alcohol for the wind-down yeah? Rémy: Concentrate! Dance! One two three four... 1:30pm. Laura [S], Conor, Annie and Jen are in the kitchen, making tea. Annie: Oh my God, look how much sugar is left! Laura [S]: Oh no! Who's been having so much!? Conor: Shaun drinks loads of tea... Jen: I have 2 sugars with mine. He has 2 or 3 I think. Shaun walks over to the kitchen. Shaun: How much is left? Conor: Like, a quarter of a bag! That's got to last until Saturday. Annie: I think one spoon per cup is enough from now on, personally I don't use any... Shaun: Because you're sweet enough, I'm sure. Laura [S]: Don't be like that. Shaun: It was a joke? Conor: Yeah well this isn't a joke. Shaun: Yeah OK. He walks off. 2:28pm. Laura [S] and Laura [P] have been peeling potatoes for 12 minutes. They have 12 hours, from when the klaxon started, to peel 500 potatoes using only one peeler between them. Linda, Ross and Shaun are in the main bedroom. Linda: I hope this task isn't too difficult. Shaun: Yeah, we don't want to go a week without sugar. Ross: Huh? Jen walks in. Shaun: Yeah, Jen was there, earlier Annie and Conor were kicking a fuss over there being so little sugar left, and I made light of the situation. Jen: Oh yeah! And they like were so serious. Linda: Oh dear... Ross: Annie's a right moody cow sometimes, must be the hormones. Jen: Why, has she said something to you? Ross: Well I offered her a hand earlier getting out of the pool and she was just like "I can manage myself." Shaun: Oh God, she's trouble, I can tell. Linda: Hmm... 4:01pm. Annie is in the Diary Room. Big Brother: When Big Brother plays a 'beep', Annie, a voice will make an order from the BB Diner menu. She has spent the last 10 minutes memorising the menu. Big Brother: After the voice stops talking, there will be a second beep, where you must repeat the order to Big Brother, perfectly. Word for word is not required, but every item ordered and special request must be relayed. Do you understand? Annie: Loud and clear. A beep is heard. A voice begins ordering. Voice: Uh, can I have two quarter-pounders with cheese, two side-orders of fries and 2 chocolate milk-shakes to go? A second beep is heard. Annie: Two 1/4lbs with cheese, two fries, 2 chocolate milkshakes to go. Big Brother: Correct, Annie. 10 minutes later... Voice: I'll have a jacket potato with cheese and beans, a kids hot dog meal with a lemonade, a side-order of onion rings and some fries. Beep. Annie: Oh er... a jacket potato with beans, kids hot dog meal with lemonade, onion rings and fries. Big Brother: The jacket potato was with beans and cheese, Annie. Annie: Oh god damn it! Big Brother: Annie, you got 8/10 orders correct. The 4 of you must get 30 out of your 40 total orders correct. You may now leave the Diary Room. 5:13pm. Greg and Lauren are in the Punishment Room. After 4 hours of continual Crazy Frog play, the plasma screen flashes the words "step in". Two booths light up to either side of the screen, and they reluctantly step in. Greg: What have we let ourselves in for? Lauren: Just grin and bear it. Their booths suddenly light up, and there are boxes overhead. As they look up, they open. Into Lauren's chamber, a mix of cotton wool, spiders and ants fall. Into Greg's, spiders, eels and itching powder. They both scream and begin scratching themselves. Greg: Oh my ****ing God! Lauren: AAAAAH I HATE COTTON WOOL! 6:01pm. Greg and Lauren are about to undergo their final punishment. They have been given 5 heaped plates of steamed cabbage and cauliflower to eat through. They must finish 3 plates between them before they can leave. Lauren: I am telling you now, I will never jump into that pool again. Greg: Too right... 1 hour and 15 minutes later, Lauren has eaten most of the 3 plates. They are finally let out of the Punishment Room, and rush to the bathroom to be sick. 8:46pm. Ama is in the Diary Room. AMA: Hello Big Brother. Big Brother: Hello, AMA. How has today been in the House? AMA: Uh, a little tense. I think the nice-faces people have put on are starting to wear off. Big Brother: What do you mean, Ama? AMA: Well, launch night. Everyone walks around acting nice and facetious, pretending to be amazing - but I've seen people bitching and there's hostility between a few Housemates already. Shaun and Annie had a little row earlier, Conor and Paul have, Lauren and Linda seem a bit tense... it's quite fun to watch really. 9:21pm. Conor is in the Diary Room. He has so far got 4 answers correct in his task, out of 9. Voice: I'd like three portions of chicken nuggets with barbeque sauce, 2 side orders of fries, a tiramisu, and four- Conor: WHAT THE HELL IS A TIRAMISU? Voice: -please. Conor: Oh my God I didn't catch that, repeat it please. Beep. Conor: Oh ****! Some chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce, 2 fries, a...a...tirry masoo. And a milkshake? I don't know! Aaaaah! Big Brother: Incorrect, Conor. Conor: No but what is a tiramisu? It wasn't on the menu! Big Brother: Yes it was, Conor, it was under the desserts. Conor: There was a desserts list!? 10:32pm. Lauren, Paul, Shaun, Greg, Ross, Laura [P], Rémy and Hannah are in the living room. Ross: SO Laura, who're you going to nominate? He winks and nudges her. Laura [P]: Oh my God don't, I don't want to think about it. WATERS: Well if you pick me I will make your life hell, remember that. Greg: Paul! WATERS: I'm only joking! Shaun: Yeah, uh...pick me and I'll sit on you. Rémy: Cruel! Laura [P]: No! Anything but that! Ross: Dirty tactics, Shaun. Greg: Does this count as nomination talk? Lauren: Well we're joking so...meh. Laura [P]: I think Laura and Conor will find it easier than me. WATERS: Yeah they'll choose me. Hannah: Ssssh! We'll get punished! Rémy: I don't want spiders on me, no way. They fall silent, and the credits roll... |
