I just played my first raid, Stastsha, it was a lot of fun!

I may give this a go next week.

If you get the game, there's a month free time, I get why the game is subscription now, they plan to have major updates every three months. Also, I'd rather pay a sub for everything than to have microtransactions in game.

The 2.1 update will bring housing, PvP and a few new bosses.

There is apparently going to be an in game faire for the next few weeks, starting next week :D

I really really really really want to get this but with gta v, PS plus and the new consoles on their way soon i just can't afford a subscription based MMO at the minute..maybe in a year or something lol

Yeah, I wasnt sure about getting it with GTA V coming out lol, but I'm glad I did. I've got a whole bunch of screenshots saved on the PS3, I'll upload them all tommorow :D

Looking good, there's a good chance I'll get this tomorrow.

The servers can get quite full between 6-11pm, but its easy enough to get in if you spam X for 10 mins or so, lol. They're planning on fixing the servers at the start of next week, so that it will run smoothly at all times.

They're extending the free trial to current players, to say thanks for bearing with them

I've never once been infuriated this much by a game before I've even had chance to play it. Hopefully I'll be able to actually PLAY it before I die of old age.

Though, servers are much easier to access earlier in the day, its only around 6-11pm that there is massive congestion.

I've created a catperson character on one of the japanese servers to try out the game while I wait for Adamantoise and Phoenix to be unrestricted so I can create my real characters.

I've decided I'll play as a little guy Arcanist on the Phoenix Server and either a human or elf archer on the Adamantoise server.

Awesome, hopefully you'll be able to get onto Adamantoise soon, they periodically remove restrictions as the starting areas clear up :D I'll hopefully get a free company (aka guild) up and running by the time you're on Adamantoise :p

I've enjoyed what I've played so far though, I expected it to control horribly on the PS3 but the controls are quite intuitive.

Yeah, the only real complaint I'd have is the targetting, but they're aware it needs some fine tuning and are working on it :D What I love about the game is every few levels you unlock something new to do.

I've managed to create a character on Adamantoise so I'll probably start playing as him tomorrow. Hopefully I get just as lucky with Phoenix as all my other friends are on that server.

The game fixing maintenance will be taking place on Wednesday 1am-11am, after that, things should be a lot easier to play.
