Im doing fine mate - just cant wait for the show to start now, its good when everyone on here likes different housemates and has the debates, last years especially was brilliant and hopefully more of the same this year.

BusyBee 13-05-2005 01:08 PM

Can you imagine the scene in our house the evening of the Champions League semi-final. Son huge Liverpool fan and daughter Chelsea fan who has been gloating all season. They wound each other up all night, and daughter went to bed in a huff (she was staying the night) muttering something about "never went over the line, shouldnt have been a goal, we woz robbed". Whilst son was dancing up and down and generally making more of a fool of himself than usual.

I went out to the pub to escape, well that's my excuse any way:spin::spin:

How long to the Cup final? Think I will be out that night too. If Liverpool win it will be safe to return, but if not (well we dont even think about that or mention the fact) and, of course FIFA will let Liverpool play next year - after all they are going to win the cup arent they :thumbs:

cc100 13-05-2005 05:26 PM

yeah, i think Liverpool will scrape it.

Did you know that on the 4 previous times Liverpool have won it, they have worn red and their opponents have worn white....and guess what? thats the case this year!!

a diplomatic result then!!

Dan_ 15-05-2005 03:08 PM

Stevenage 0-1 Carlisle :bawling::mad:. Another season in the conference then, it was not a bad day out to Stoke but it was not meant to be. Next season we need to win the league play-offs are too much for me.

Kore 15-05-2005 04:15 PM

Man U beat Southampton sending them down to the Championship.

cc100 15-05-2005 04:30 PM

West Brom survive-booooooooooo

im a birmingham fan BTW!

Mike 15-05-2005 07:19 PM

Fair play to West Brom, when the fans woke up this morning it looked more than likely they would be relegated but instead they got the win and now their in partying spirit.

Kore 15-05-2005 08:00 PM

i like west brom

kaphc 15-05-2005 08:05 PM

I like the fact that the Baggies stayed up - it's disproved the theory that the team who is bottom at Christmas always gets relegated!

BigSister 15-05-2005 08:14 PM

I like west Brom too Kore

Mike 15-05-2005 08:35 PM

I expect they will end up in the same position next year though, fact is their simply not strong enough compared to teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, Bolton and Middlesborough.

Kore 15-05-2005 09:09 PM

yeah... u normally see teams promoted to the premier, get relagated straight away.

The fact that Bolton are mentioned in your list of teams above shows that it is possible for teams to come into the Premiership and do well.

But I bet West Brom will be tipped as relegation favourites next year!

cc100 16-05-2005 06:05 PM

Wigan WILL survive next year but Sunderland will go down, IMHO

Dan_ 16-05-2005 06:15 PM

Yer Wigan have a lot of money behind them.

kaphc 17-05-2005 07:15 PM

So ... just in case anyone missed it last night (what, you mean you were all watching Celebrity Love Island????!!!):

Brentford 1:2 Sheffield Weds

Which means that the Owls are through to the play-offs at Cardiff!!

Hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hello::hello::hello: :hello::hello::hello::hello::hello::hello::hello:: hello::hello::hello::hello::hello::hello::hello:

BigSister 17-05-2005 07:24 PM

Bolton was an example mate, they have had an excellent season under Sam Allardyce so deserve to be mentioned amongst the best, obviously there far off Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United but fair play to them.

cc100 18-05-2005 05:42 PM
