There's been a shock turn of events for Harry's Album! Due to controversies over it's name, Harry's Concept Gangster Folk Rap album 'Japanese Gurls love da leeks' has zoomed into the top 20! Will it rise higher before Sunday?

DEZZY DOWN AND ARISTA OUT OF SINGLES CHART

I've been looking at sales figures of this week's singles and it seems that Arista and Dezzy might be left unhappy in this week's chart.

The Andyman remix of Arista's flop single "Sign Of The Times" entered the midweek charts at number 10 after it gained popularity in clubs. However, its' new-found success has waned, and it looks like it won't even be in the top 15 by Sunday.

However, Dezzy will be even more gutted. The ongoing online popularity of his cover of Britney Spears hit Womanizer had meant it was going to make a top 8 return.

But it looks like the best he'll be able to get is number 10 due to the return of a certain TiBBer, and GaGaGary, who's single "Heart Shaped Handles" is rising up due to the mystery surrounding its guest artist.

In other chart news, Matt's Sugababes hate song "Amelle's A Slag" is slipping after ex-member Mutya's local HMV ran out of copies.

We'll have another update on the movers and shakers tomorrow...

Pah I'll dominate the charts next tiem with NEW material. It's just a sign of my greatness that such an OLD song can rise back to the top 10 again!

Rory 20-06-2009 09:04 AM

I see Ann's song going down 4 is marked as green. I heard the reason why it's perceived as a good thing that she's falling off the charts is to parallel her appearance on the forums.

Btw, go buy my new single - 4 Films on Film4. It's got some great lyrics that might actually move you to tears. :dazzler:

PFFT. That'll be lucky to make the Top 75.

Harry! 20-06-2009 01:30 PM

My song 'I Wash Socks On Tuesday' has amazingly risen to the top 40. My album 'Japanese Gurls love da leeks' has now risen to the top 10!

Ok thanks! You could write the top 40 without putting it on a picture

MrGaryy 20-06-2009 06:07 PM

Harry, you'd need a top 200 in order to see any of your material on the chart.

I'm really pleased with the buzz around Heart Shaped Handles. my mystery guest was truly sensational to work with.

Sorry #4 here in America, word is that tomorrow it'll be #1. It's a sound unlike any other. Everyone here is asking what is Film4? They're needing it like I do.

I don't give a s**t about Britain's top 40. If you make it in America, you've made it :dazzler:

*mazedsalv** 20-06-2009 07:17 PM

Ooo Heart Shaped Handles is new at #9, but i was hoping it would get to #1, the lyrics are brilliant I have to say.
