It's true. They were even taken to court because they didn't believe that it was effect and actually though they killed people in it aswell.

Ugh I am going to be sick, I went on the wiki.
I have very weak nerves lmao.

bettiepage 28-06-2009 03:53 PM

:laugh2: So guess you won't be watching that in the near future.

Christina 28-06-2009 04:07 PM

Is it really bad? Ah i was going to maybe read about it, don't think i will though!

bettiepage 28-06-2009 04:13 PM

The sad part is what they do to actually kill the animals.

* A coatimundi (mistaken as a muskrat in the film) is stabbed multiple times in the neck by an actor.
* A large turtle (about three feet long) is captured in the water and dragged to shore, where it is then decapitated and its limbs and shell removed. The actors proceed to cook and eat the turtle.
* A large spider is killed with a machete.
* A snake is killed with a machete.
* A squirrel monkey has its face cut off with a machete.
* A pig is kicked twice and then shot with a rifle.

Christina 28-06-2009 04:16 PM

I read the 1st one and can't read the rest. They're absouloute idiots!

DrunkerThanMoses 28-06-2009 04:17 PM

Opps my bad.. I had a look on wiki and I got the wrong film title.. my friend lent me Cannibal Apocalypse, not Cannibal Holocaust.. .however reading about it... it sounds great.. Im gunna have to look out for it in the shop.. or hopefully its on Zone Horror or something like that!

Marc 28-06-2009 04:18 PM

I'm not sure if any film has made me really scared before! Maybe Jurassic Park as a child or Jaws? lol both very unlikely to happen  but I have a love for horror films now and I go to watch the gore etc

The film 'Ed Ginn' I think it's spelled correctly is the person that Psycho + Texas chainsaw Massacre is based on, he was a real psycho!

DrunkerThanMoses 28-06-2009 04:28 PM
