Hmmm.......... Sounds a lot like a similar predicament I am in with my fan fiction ideas which seem to persistantly forge within my mind. When I try to plan them out I just can't help but find myself fighting a battle within, where I am fightning my own inner doubts over whether or not I can develop the stories to the point of being good enough to have any artistic value. I find it ironic that one of the characters i want to use has an inferioty complex.
I am not really sure how to answer your question, but considering the fact that after the BMX accident you regained your fitness and entering the world of boxing, the fact you are a self taught guitarist, and overcoming the problems with the language barrier.........
You strike me as having a strong sense of determination when faced with the challenge of overcoming obstacles, and whilst you haven't always won in the boxing ring, you have never allowed it to deter you from re entering. You just prepare for the next opponent.
Can't give you a clear answer, but I believe with the things you have decided to do in life, (your boxing and your art), you will do everything in your power, to try and make things you want happen and continually try to put 110% of yourself into your future endevours.
