They are normally people who know almost nothing about them. Nicotone and alcohol are far more addictive for instance than cannabis and are more harmful.

I agree. Getting an injection is a hard behaviour, I don't think I could do it. It's a desperate behaviour, the last of the last drugs once you got tired of everything else. It's also the only drug you take once and get addicted forever.

Not entirely true Remy. I know someone who tried heroin many years ago but never did it again. I have never really spoken to them in depth about it though.

You don't have to be high to be cool. You shouldn't do it only because your friends do but because you want to try and see what is going to happen. You can stop if you didn't like it. It's no big deal.

That's your perogative. I have never taken drugs to make me look "cool". They have normally been taken in the privacy of mine or someone elses home. I don't stand on the street smoking a spliff going "look at me, aren't I clever".

At least I tried before commenting on it and I know what the effects are. Yes it can kill you just like any other drugs but not everytime you take some. You got to be serious about it and know your boundaries.

So can paracetamol as Netto pointed out. It depends on a lot of factors when causing death. Not everyone that takes it dies from it otherwise nobody would do it. There are very, very few cases. It is a risk, yes, but so is flying on a plane.

I know the risks taking drugs, I've done it before and i'll do it again, I don't go around out of my head everyday, Sometimes i'll have a joint to unwind at night I do be on msn talking and I know exactly what im doing and other members will back me up on that. I take drugs sim ply because I tried them I liked them it's not a habbit I dont steal to pay for them, I dont flaunt the fact that I do and I know my limits with them. I think your perspective may change as you get a bit older, mine did.

I used to have the odd line when I was 16/17 but soon kicked it when it was getting more regular (so I didn't become an addict)

That was all when my head was screwed and I didn't really care though tbh, I'm clean now and I have to have regular drug tests anyway and they're completely random. It could be next week it could be next year I have no idea. If anything comes back positive I'll get kicked out the RAF

I've got my head screwed on now. If people want to take them then thats up to them and I don't judge them for it (if they can control it) but personally I'll stay clean

I smoke weed regularly. That's all I'd ever do. I have no interest in taking other drugs.

There are a lot of ignorant people in this forum. You know cigarettes and booze are a lot more harmful than weed. Weed is sometime given by Doctors for certain illnesses. It can cure headaches, makes you work faster, stimulate creativity.

If someone offered me something that wasn't heroin or something, I'd probably take it. You only live once.

I don't think I could ever become addicted to anything though, I choose when to smoke (which isn't often), and have seen addiction do horrible things to people. I'm careful :)

As for things I've done - only booze, cigarettes, a joint and poppers thus far.

I'm completely and utterly against drugs, Never taken them in my life and never will. My uncle was an addict and died of an overdose, so I've seen what it can do to people so I'd dare anyone to give me the 'well If you've never tried it how do you know it's bad' line or anything like it.

Like with alcohol and smoking I'm not against people taking drugs, it's their choice just don't expect me to agree with it.

I kind of agree and disagree with you, I think it depends on the person, if you have an addictive personality then yu shouldn't really be using drugs regularly if you get where i'm coming from?

Just wanna add that weed is not physically addictive and it's impossible to OD on it unless you are somehow able to smoke more than your body weight in a very short amount of time.

Weed is a grey area for me, It's got a lot of medical uses and it's nowhere near as dangerous as harder drugs so I'm not so against it. I still think people need to take care and not treat it like a gateway drug, but then again from what I've seen of most of the people in the thread, no one's that stupid to do so.

I'd still never have any though, goes against my morales and the smell's rank.

On the flip side it destroys your brain. It can also weaken your immune system and make you more open to chest infections like bronchitis etc.

Thanks and I definately get where you're coming from. Like I said in my previous post as long as you are careful with it I'm not AS against weed for medicinal or recreational use.

The reason why I'm not totally FOR weed is that my uncle started off with it and then moved on to harder drugs. He used it as a gateway drug, But then again he was an idiot and after what he became, dying in his own waste was too good for him.

I'm not gonna paint everyone with the same brush though. It's kinda hard to explain my position though, I'm kinda conflicted on weed. Since I know that most people who smoke it recreationally never go onto anything harder. It's a grey and murky spot in my view.

Yeah I don't use it all the time, I use it as a relaxant or if I'm in a mates house. I don't use harder drugs that often, the last time I did was around my birthday, like I said I know my limits and stick to them.
