xmynxiex I just wanted to make a quick response on your words..as a person who along with her sister cared for an invalid parent (mother), Believe me, at 22yrs old, this time away from that stress is so beneficial to Charlie, mentally, emotionally and physically even...I'm saying this as your words "If charlies mum iS in a coma then why an earth is he on BB? surely you would want to be there for your mum? struck such a cord.
I can't view the LF so I don't know if it has been mentioned if Charlie has siblings or how involved his father is in the care of his mother...some think, Oh well she is in a coma and in the hospital, so what all does he really have to do...well in addition to having to work everyday and support himself financially......believe me.. he has alot left to do...here in the states, we don't get to stay in hospital for very long....we are sent to a nursing home and if Family are not there daily to monitor the care and upkeep of their loved one, they may find their loved one suffering in so many ways...clean bedding/clean gowns/given medication properly and at correct times/being fed...the meetings with Doctors and Nursing staff etc etc etc...it's incredibly draining...and these few months may be the most carefree time Charlie has in the next 3/4/5 how many more Years...so please don't begrudge him this...he's trying to earn money for himself naturally, but also for the care and welfare of his mother.
I for one, will spare him a little sympathy and hope that even if he doesn't win the money, he has had a few months of peace and fun away from what awaits him when he steps out those doors and carries on with the rest of his lfe.
Sorry for the rant--but I needed to get that out.
