I guess it generally means being two faced and untrustworthy. In this case Marcus dos not appear to have a gameplan. I can' think of a reasonable argument to say that he is anything but straight with people.

As far as having thought out a way to behave in order to win the show, the true meaning of gameplan then of course he has. Even 'just being myself', which everyone admits to, and even uses as an excuse for the way they behave is the biggest gameplan in the book.

They all have a gameplan, its the type of gameplan that is the problem. Marcus has the typical 'be myself' gameplan. On the other hand CHarlie has a 'pretend to be a fun guy' gameplan. Which one is the nice gameplan and which one is the nasty? Well thats what the public decide every week.

Marcus gameplan is to imitate Rex (who was imitating previous characters) and the advantage Marcus has is:
He is obsessed what people think about him and controlling how people look and think about him. His selfishness is actually an advantage in this case. So is his contempt for others and that he has most definitely been carefully studying the series and especially the relationship between audience and 'types of characters'.
Marcus is not actually that perceptive in his own right but you will notice (even with limited edited presentations) notice he definitely watches what everyone else is thinking, saying, predicting, opining and how they are responding.
He copies that.

Here is the saddest thing though - there are enough 'plebs' who really are 'sheep' and are easily manipulated to fall for it.
not enough for a win,
but,
enough to carry him this far.

Yes he has a huge gameplan and unfortunately it seems to be working.
