In the name of entertainment. Which it isn't really, it's just false and tedious. They should let the semi-decent singers from the pre-lims get through to the first auditions.

yeah my brothers girlfriend is quite a good singer but didnt get through but then you get the total ****tards who go through just for entertainment value..i suppose it has to happen but its harsh
