Some men are, some women are but generally speaking, since most men eventually get bored and sit around in a couch for most of the time - it's more women than men are more shallow.

Well... I'm going by experience mate.

I notice men in relationships, marriage, usually get tired of shopping and going out and prefer to just sit around and eat and do little. Women I've noticed get fascinated by shiny bright things and want to brighten up stuff.

Obviously, not all women are like this and not all men are like that. There can be instances where men are more bling than women but usually, I've noticed it's women. Just look at the products and commercial industry that is surrounded by so many temporary products for women from accessories to beauty and health objects and there are more female high street brands than men's.

That maybe so when you're focusing on clothes and Jewellery but what about men and cars??? Generally speaking men are more into cars which could be considered shallow also. So, I'm sticking with my original thought that you just can't choose one or the other and generalise a whole sex!!

But don't women like small tiny Penelope Pitstop type cars?

Niamh. 30-09-2009 01:20 PM

Fom 30-09-2009 01:22 PM

I see women all the time hunched over their steering wheels whizzing in and out of cars. Always telling you to do something in the road when in fact they're stuck in the wrong position.

OK they're not all like that but there are some clueless drivers out there.

Some men are the same. I just expect more from women drivers because a lot are careful. Some men drivers are just stupid. Usually taxi drivers or some muppet with his windows blacked up so you can't put a face to his pathetic gene hood.

Niamh. 30-09-2009 01:38 PM

That maybe so but being a bad driver doesn't make you shallow it just makes you a bad driver!!! lol

Do you know what I've noticed though speaking of bad drivers, those woman you described 9 times out of 10 drive Micras and the other 1 out of 10 drive Yaris'

Well it's usually a small car and they look like they need to get somewhere urgently.

I always spoil things for them.

Niamh. 30-09-2009 01:52 PM

lol, I can't remember the last time I drove behind a Micra who didn't drive like they were 405 years old (actually sometimes they are 405 years old!!)

Today I was driving and I got to a small roundabout and a car was on the otherside and wasn't indicating so I though I can go but this lunatic turned into my exit instead and then started to tailgate me.

Now I never caught sight of him but I thought it was just some lunatic all blinged up and stuff but when he decided to over take me I caught a glimpse and he looked like this:

http://2dboy.com/blog/wp-content/upl...08/11/nerd.jpg

He was completely geekified.

Then he went and tailgated this big massive truck, looking for a way to overtake.

What is even funnier is, I obeyed the speed limit while this loser just hurtled forward and ended up in the same jam I was in.

Then he turned left. It was pretty bizarre because the road he turned left into, ends up into a road that he could have turned left into earlier. I think it was out of shame because for all his hurtling he still ended up where he started from.

These numpties just make me laugh.

LOL, There are some ridiculously bad drivers around alright. It's not so bad when somebody genuinely makes a mistake and aknowledges that but it's the ****ers like the one you described who were in the wrong but make out that you were that really piss me off!! :nono:

They're mental. They think they own the road and can do as they please.

We have people dying from their complacency and arrogance.

Niamh. 30-09-2009 02:45 PM

Yes, exactly, getting behind the wheel is like holding a loaded gun. There should be far stricter standards for being allowed to drive imo cos there are some idiots out there!

Yeah it is an extreme problem. People don't see how dangerous a car is. Idiotic as they are.

I think some people are happy to see it as a weapon.

30stone 30-09-2009 07:39 PM

Not sure..

Women care about what they look like slightly more than men, but since men usually have to make the move with women they go for the best looking.

But women are i think.

Im happy im rather shallow :wavey:
